I have been going to Grimilda and Andy for the past seven years. They are the only people I will let touch my naturally curly hair. These ladies grow my hair, keep it healthy and get it bone straight, without damaging my curl pattern. I love the energy in the salon. I am a single mother with three sons and everyone in the salon treats all of us like family. I’ve moved out of the area and it is still worth the trip to Dominican Destination. Thanks to these ladies, I get my New York City -style Dominican Blowout. These hairdressers are remarkable colorists with amazing artistic talent. You truly get what you pay for at Dominican Destination.

I love this salon, it’s a bit expensive but it’s worth it for the results! i have natural hair and my curls come right back after i wash it! the longest it usually last is about 2 1/2 weeks for me .

Make sure you get a quote before Andy does your hair. She quoted me $45 flat over the phone. Then after she did my hair, she told me it would be $100 ! My hair is shorter than shoulder length, so there was no way I was paying $100. Also, she charges $30 extra for a deep conditioning. I looked the bottle up on Amazon ( Boe Jalea Penetre Capilar Regenerador Estimulante) and found it for $12 !! Also the $300 texturizer she uses I found on amazon for $18 (Alter Ego Linange Shea Butter Texturizer). So yea she is overcharging people !

This hair salon should go out of.busines , they jack up a price on my elderly mother from 25 to 65 dollars and all she wanted was a wash and cut ,,,, unprofessional untidy salon , it was empty in there so I guess I can understand why,,, no price list for services either , I guess you make it up as you go along ,,
