So I came here because my original spot is closed for the holiday so I made an appointment and tried it out. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. The salon keeps the door locked because of Covid so they took my temperature and gave me sanitizer before I walked in. I had a lot of questions and they answered with no issues. Hilda did my wash, deep condition, and trim and she was really nice. The problem is they take a long time to finish everything. I was there for 3 1/2 hours which was nuts. Also they are a bit pricey compared to my other spot. It cost me $50 when I usually pay less for the simple tasks. My doobie came out ok and all in all I had a decent experience.

I loved my experience yesterday. I had just left two salons because they were closing hours earlier than the times indicated online. So I called this salon to make sure they were open before I drove there. They told me a) when they closed and b) when they take the last client of the day. Which was helpful in helping me determine whether I should risk the drive or not. They did a wonderful job when I got there, I was very pleased with the level of service and the end product of my hair. Will be making this salon my first choice from now on.

I go here ever often. I like the prices. Did not wait too long to get services. The prices are great.I do recommend calling before going. For this covid times they are ready. they take your temp at the door and sanitizing hands is a must before walking in. Chairs are apart as mandatory. There are dividers between driers. Mask must be worn at all times.They work with all types of hair. Specifically my hair that is very wild and does what it wants. They manage to handle it well there. I was suffering for weeks with a horrible hair color that I had some where else. After giving my hair time to rest and recover from that horrible horrible chemical they put in my hair I went here. I showed a picture of what I wanted. they got to work. They color it took about 30 minitues. They wash and it rolled it up in about 15 minutes and under the dryer I went for and hour. Then the blow drier and flat iron that was about 15 more minutes. Then, like magic, I was happy again. I will post some pictures .now I didn’t take pictures before I went in buy I will post one on how my hair looks on an average day. By the way I think they have a website.

I Love this salon! Not only is everyone friendly, the place is very clean, spacious and best of all I have never actually waited more than two minutes for my turn. They’re open on Sundays and during the week are open till 7 pm. They are all great. My 8 year old daughter gave it two thumbs up on her first visit because they left her hair super straight (she has long curly hair). I have done my hair with different hairdressers there and every single time my hair comes out on point. The owner Alexandra “Alex” is an expert at cutting bangs. She recently cut my bangs with a razor and trimmed the edges with scissors cutting upwards and I couldn’t be happier; my husband loves it. I have also done a relaxer and coloring on the same day and my hair came out super soft and straight. A++++ #Dominicansalon

I have been going to Dominican Beauty for the past 9 years and from day one I have always walked out loving my hair. I always tell others that Alex (owner) believes in quality first. Now she will make you look good, but she believes that if your is healthy it will look good even in a ponytail. I can contest to her belief. I still receive many compliments on my hair even when its pulled back. My husband loves what she does with my hair. I have had cuts, highlights, and the Brazilian Keratin and my hair is still very healthy. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. It takes time to trust someone with your hair. I have that trust with Alex!! I came to her with damaged hair…that is now a distant past for me. Thanks Alex!!!!!!
