Solid nail salon. Plenty of staff. I never wait more than 10 minutes as a walk-in, but they do take appointments. Throw away liners on pedicure tubs. Metal tools in barber solution. Files and sponges thrown away. Most staff in masks. Half wear gloves. I don’t know if they also have an autoclave.

I have been getting my manicures and pedicures done here for the last few months. I had no complaints; the ladies were always friendly and did a good job. I went in today, and this is honestly the worst manicure I have ever gotten. Most of my nails are filed unevenly, and the male cosmetician didn’t even take the time to remove the cuticles properly. He was also speaking to another cosmetician in his mother tongue, and I could tell he was talking about me because she kept looking over at me and my nails. He put no effort into doing my nails and, on top of this, was abrasive and rude. I think some of this had to do with the fact that I just wanted a regular manicure, not a gel set. Unfortunately, it just takes one bad experience to push away a client, and it’s too bad because I used to spend money on gel pedicures and manicures about every two or three weeks. This time, I asked for a regular manicure because my nails get damaged by repeatedly having gel done.

I’ve been going there on and off for years. I’m over it. It’s really expensive and the quality has gone down hill. I paid $70 ($77 including tip) for a gel fill and pedicure no polish on Thursday evening. By Sunday morning. The polish/acrylic has come off of 2 nails, causing one to break. She didn’t let the polish dry enough between coats so it just peels up and is sloppy around the edges. A third nail has started chipping. One of my toe nails wasn’t even filed straight and snagged on my sheet last night.

This people are so rude, like I wasted my 83 dollars for nothing. I paid for pedicure and the lady in question was just playing with feets. She wanted to fix my nails before the pedicure and I felt so cheated. Imagine one of the males there was going to ask me out of the store if I complained again. They’re so horrible and kept speaking their Philippines language. I will never go there, not anymore. I went there at first and gave them a five star because I was still new to Santa Fe and hadn’t found a better place. They fix your nails at diva spa and in one week they are falling off. Waste of money and terrible customer service. I regret going here and I’m withdrawing my two friends I referred there.

Today I had a gel pedicure and regular manicure at Diva Nail spa. An older lady gave me the pedicure. Twice she cut the skin on my big toes with the block file. Both times she was looking out the window not at my feet as she was buffing. I had to ask her to disinfect the cuts and put the blue stuff to stop the bleeding. A bald gentleman did the gel polish. While he worked on my toes, she did the manicure while I was still in the chair. The position was uncomfortable and she did a poor job. She didn’t push back my cuticles, but she did nip at them with a cuticle nipper, leaving hanging skin on my thumbs. She also painted my cuticles with the color polish. I had to ask her to remove the polish from my cuticles and she did so with nail polish remover and a brush, but the end result was not good. First thing I did when I got home was to remove the polish. Thank goodness she didn’t do the gel on my toes. I have been to this salon about 4 times in the past but I won’t return. It was a waste of my time and money today.

I had a great experience. I am from out of town so had that “where can I get in?” Panic. Called them at 10am, made an appointment for 10:30am same day, showed up and they got right to work. The gentleman who did my nails was gentle but fast and precise, and did a difficult French modified manicure. Price was much lower than Austin where I am from. He did a beautiful job.

It was great! My friend and I were in town for a wedding and waited til the last minute to get our nails done, so as soon as they opened, they were able to take our walk-in and seated us each within 30 seconds. My regular polish mani pedi is nice and the woman that worked on me was very sweet. My friend got a gel mani pedi and it is STUNNING! The whole staff is very polite and efficient. It gets a bit hectic in there, so maybe for the people complaining here about their appointments being a few minutes behind, I’d strongly suggest arriving a little earlier than your appointment time? They’re busy for a reason 😉

There were roaches crawling around feasting on old toenail clippings and floating in the water for people’s pedicures. I showed the nail tech what I wanted and instead of doing what I showed her she decided she was going to freestyle today and do whatever she wanted, these nails were supposed be for my wedding, I will never be returning to this hellscape disguised as a nail salon and neither should you.

BEWARE! WORST service ever! I was rushed through in 23 mins. Dirty,fast,not polite or careful. All nail polish is old and dried up! Overall experience was awful. Pedicure was rough and nails cut uneven and nicked. I wanted to leave. I will never go back! You should not either! The worst!
