Let me begin by say that I absolutely love Dr. Henderson. She is everything you could want from a doctor: caring, understanding, and compassionate. Unfortunately, I moved and had to find another dermatologist. My current dermatologist is trying to gain access to my medical records so that I can continue with my medication, but apparently Dimitri Dermatology’s policy is to charge the patient AND new dermatologist a FEE for those copies of my medical records. This is the first time that my dermatologist or I have ever encountered this (and I’ve been to multiple dermatology offices). Just a warning if you decide to visit with their dermatology offices.

Look, after having over 76 surgeries and countless misdiagnosis’, it be subtle for me to say I’ve learned what to look for in a doctor (my opinion of course). Doctors need to be smart and confident, without holding a sense of superiority. Dr. Perdomo is such an awesome doctor, not just with knowledge, but understanding of how to interact with people and truly relay the situation with honesty, thoroughness, and confidence. The staff is superb. I wish I knew the receptionists name, she’s amazing. Not to mention, these people will work you in at last second,if it’s possible. The wait time after arrival makes the Popeyes drive-thru seem like 8 hour trek through an indigenous rain forest, barefoot

Alright, chances are high if you are reading this review, you are worried about the 3.2 stars (as of 09/11/2020) that this place has. My wife and I were a little worried too. Not that 3.2 is awful, but compared to between 4 and 5, it’s not thee best. Let me reassure you though – this place IS the best. I cannot speak for the bad reviewers, but I can say with 100% confidence and honesty that every single person here is just fantastic. Literally everything was a smooth process that was met with kindness from every staff member involved.

Dimitri Dermatology is one of the absolute best places to be employed. Dr. Dimitri and the rest of her team are very caring and compassionate towards their patients and staff. I’ve been suffering with migraines for a few years and I was given Dimitri’s information from a co-worker that used to work there. So I made an appointment and was able to get in really quick which I liked. I was greeted and taken care of by the nurse/ assistant. Once the Dr came in she asked me a few questions that basically had nothing to do with the reason why I was there. She had me fill out papers then told me she would be sending in the pre-authorization forms to my insurance company. Well a few weeks went by and I heard nothing. I called my insurance company and they informed me that nothing was sent in by that Dr. I called Dimitri back only to be given the run around with their call center. Once I finally got through which was now about a month or so after my initial visit that’s when the paperwork showed up at the insurance company and I received an email from CVS stating my prescription was being sent over. Well by this time I’ve already gone to another Dr. had my Botox injections and scheduled a 2nd appointment. And now 6 months later I’m still receiving calls stating that a new prescription is ready for pickup. I would not recommend my worst enemy to this place ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give – stars.

The wait is rather long because they schedule everyone for surgery on Friday. The room we had was filthy. The floors looked unmopped, the bed was dirty like they don’t wipe it down. The nurse didn’t even bother to change the paper on the bed before bringing a new patient to the room. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I usually don’t write reviews but I am very unhappy. I called to make an appointment yesterday 4/10/18 and the “answer service” scheduled one for me. I confirmed the address with the guy as 105 Medical Blvd. which was what the address was on whatever place I found the office on the internet. I got to the address on time, however the office was not here. I called and got the “answer service” again and he gave me the proper address then I asked him to transfer me to the office so I could let them know I was late and to ask exactly where on Gause the office was. I got “disconnected”. I called back to the “answer service” and he connected me to an office staff where I verified where they were. I asked her because I was so late if they were going to still be able to see me. She said sure come on in. I had already driven from Picayune, MS to the Northshore Hospital area so I had to go down Gause, which was very busy, jump on the interstate and get off at the mall exit. After getting my paperwork to update my file, the girl calls me to the window and tells me that I could not be seen today that the doctor could see me Friday. No Thank You! Very disorganized.
