Critical: ProfessionalismEdited* Update: REDEEMED !By a different incredible hair stylist who colored my friends hair had me come in the next day. And she made my hair very beautiful ! She really listened and was super polite ! Thank you Mia ! For turning my experience around ! I very HIGHLY recommend her!!!Made an appointment and planned weeks ahead of time to go at the same time with my girl friend just to get called to move my time cause she wanted to duck out early, to all together cancelled 2 hours before I was suppose to come in, leaving my friend to go alone. I wish she would have reardched out to me at any point in the week like they told me they would to get an idea of my hair .. Just feels unorganized and will brush you off if they aren’t feeling up to it that day. Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis was my second time coming here the first time Taylor did my root touch up and Brazilian blow out paid $450 the Brazilian blow out didn’t last. I went out of town for a couple of months. I saw Taylor for root touch up on 8/18 (I went in with platinum hair, had spent $500 in full highlights 6 weeks prior -abroad) she said my blonde looked yellow and she would put a glaze to make it look nicer. I told her I wanted a shadow root to be closer to my natural hair color on top. She however got rid of my blonde!! She melted the root covered 70% of my blonde! My hair was so dark when I told them I didn’t like the results they lighten the hair a bit brown. Taylor refused to blow dry my hair and I walked out of there with wet hair. She blamed my hair for the results saying it’s too curly and coarse. This was my second time coming here the first time Taylor did my root touch up and Brazilian blow out paid $450 the Brazilian blow out didn’t last. I went out of town for a couple of months. I saw Taylor for root touch up on 8/18 (I went in with platinum hair, had spent $500 in full highlights 6 weeks prior -abroad) she said my blonde looked yellow and she would put a glaze to make it look nicer. Critical: ValueI didn’t catch the name of the stylist that I saw but unfortunately I cannot give a good review after they completely ruined my hair. I called in advance and made a last minute appointment for a perm, I was very specific about what I wanted and even showed reference pictures. I’m sad to say that not only did I not get a proper consultation but I also got a completely different type of perm then what I wanted, my hair was also cut too short and it looked like I had an afro which is not what I wanted at all. My hair was so damaged afterwards that I didn’t know what to do. Just grow it out I guess. Other than the poor outcome of my hair I would have to say that the overall environment of the salon is very professional and the stylists themselves are actually quite nice, although over the phone they might sound a bit rushed and discourteous. I do hope in the future they give proper consultation on people’s hair and stress what the outcome may be especially with something as drastic as a perm. I didn’t catch the name of the stylist that I saw but unfortunately I cannot give a good review after they completely ruined my hair. I called in advance and made a last minute appointment for a perm, I was very specific about what I wanted and even showed reference pictures.
