I went here for the first time for a spray tan.. 10 out of 10 would recommend. The girls were SO sweet and super informative right from my initial phone call. When I showed up I was greeted very warmly and got a tour to show me the options. The girls answered all questions flawlessly. Extremely helpful. I ended up buying a membership. My spray tan is GORGEOUS. Thanks again ladies!!

Make sure you really specify your beds because they don’t ask, they just assume. Horrible customer service. The employees are uneducated and rude. Seattle Sun Tan is way better.

Make sure you realize this before you purchase a package. My first time tanning using the spray machine. Manager is very informative of all the options. I chose to start with the spary on machine and tried my best to do the poses as instructed. Somehow my tan came out uneven. I didn’t feel comfortable going into the machine again to see if I could e en it out the next day. So I asked for a airbrush fix instead ,but was told it would be extra and my package is Non refundable even after less than 24 hrs. Girls are very polite about it but I learned I probably whould have done better with airbrush.

Update to respond to reply: That is not true. When I first started using red light in Yelm I was given 20 minute sessions. The bed did not change, the intensity did not change. You brought the time down to 15 minutes so you didn’t have people waiting as long. The red light beds are nicer in Lacey and Tumwater as well.

Critical: ProfessionalismThe new management at the Yelm Desert Sun is clearly experiencing some issues. I used to go to this location all the time prior to the management change. The service and staff were all incredible and performed their jobs greatly. Not sure why they felt the need to fix what’s not broken. I have gone to this location twice since they’ve made these changes. For the times I’ve been, I’ve encountered the same (new) girl. Both times she has been disrespectful, unhelpful, and clearly not wanting to do her job. The policy changes are also very pointless and make zero sense. I did an all inclusive package on the last day of my paid package tried yelm salon and learned that I wasn’t getting the full package and the other stores didn’t tell me.
