I took my son for an appointment on Monday for his sever ache. The doctor prescribed him 3 medications that were all name brand and my insurance does not cover those. Each medication is $700-900. I called that same day asking for a different or off brand medication. I didn’t get a call back, so Tuesday I called again…. the medical assistant tells me that she will send a message to the doctor in addition (per my request) send my insurance a pre authorization. Today is now Wednesday, I haven’t heard back so I called again, they were in a meeting, so the Front desk said she will have the medical assistant call me back. 3 plus hrs later still no phone call. I called yet AGAIN!! At this point I’m annoyed. Finally spoke to the MA and she tells me she will send a message to the doctor….. hummm yesterday you were supposed to do that!! Apparently she didn’t have time, according to her. So NOW my son has to wait for the doctor to check his messages. She says it can be another day or so before he gets back to me.

I have been a patient of Joseph A. Samady M.D. for 4 years at their Fallbrook office. He is a thorough physician and will spend as much time as necessary with me. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. The nurses and staff are very pleasant. I haven’t been kept waiting on any of my visits. Highly recommended.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been to this office in a 11 year time frame. Each time very poor service by the doctor. One time was with another party which was he had skin cancer he told the other party he should go to his own GP for treatment! I went both for skin tags to be frozen off. This time I told him I was not wanting the mechanical gun with nitrogen but would like it adminestered with cue tips instead (leaves less scars). He refused, we disagreed. I left, my insurance paid for office visit & a seperate full body check but no but no service performed. Then he wanted to take a picture & bill additional of 1 site (which was a zit) & wanted me to come back & check site later & maybe to burn off on a few weeks. It was a zit. What away to make some bucks! I’ll never go there again! A Big rip off!!! There are other better doctors to work with. Oh if you miss or change apppintment you pay for office call…..

I see Dr Samady in the Fallbrook location . He is thorough, knowledgeable, caring, kind, gentle, listens well and is clear w/ his directions, thoughts, and “”what is next” . I feel well taken care of and respected by Dr Samady. I trust him.
