Dr. Blankenship and her staff are absolutely amazing! I switched to her after having such a horrible experience somewhere else. She restored my faith in doctors. She is the first dermatologist I have ever seen, let alone doctor, that has actually listened to me. She filled my prescription with out issues, she did a thorough skin cancer exam. She found a suspicious mole and advised me what to do. She thoroughly explained both options for removal and a biopsy. The procedure was by far my best experience with one. I’ve had multiple biopsys and removals done. So I had low expectations going in and expected the same mishaps as the previous place I went to. But I was happily proved wrong immediately! They talked me through the entire process, explained how to care for the stitches, and explained what to expect. She treated me like a human being, not a dollar sign. A few days later they called with the biopsy results, again beyond friendly and polite. I have NEVER had such a great experience with a doctor and staff. The receptionist, nurses, and Dr. Blankenship are all wonderful!

Dr. Barrows did not perform the excision that I had an appointment for because he thought it was in my best interest to have the Castle test beforehand. When I came home & read about this test, I understood more about what it meant to do it in advance & I appreciate that he recommended it for me. Krisha is a very kind, patient nurse who helped me understand everything that I was being told. When you hear that you have melanoma & all of the things that it could turn into, it helps to have doctors & nurses who you feel are doing everything they can for you. I feel like I am in good hands.
