I am so thankful for a local dermatology clinic that is kid friendly! Both of my children admire Shelbi, Crystal, and her nursing staff. They were very calm and explained the process of what they were doing for each checkup. Moving here from out of state, I had high expectations for a local dermatologist and Shelbi exceeded those expectations. I am grateful that Dr. Graham shared Shelbi’s services and expertise with us in Hot Springs. She goes above and beyond to provide excellent service, thorough care, and always follows up.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Shelby Carpenter! Everyone there was wonderful from the receptionist to the nurses. Everyone was friendly and the scheduling was super easy – and all the reminders were helpful! The most important thing was that Dr Carpenter figured out my skin issue and it was resolved within a month. It was an issue that I’ve had for years and no help from the many other dr’s I went to. What a god send! I can’t thank them all enough!

After suffering for a long time with a debilitating skin disease, I made an appointment to see Dr. Carpenter. I have never had to wait long in her office, and everyone-from the receptionists to her nurse to the doctor – are all incredibly congenial and professional. The doctor worked with me to find a medication that would work while Nurse Gabby worked diligently to help me get the shots I needed at a reduced cost. I can’t sing their praises enough. They have been absolutely phenomenal. Months later, my hair has grown back, my skin has cleared up, and I have a new lease on life! I owe Dr. Carpenter, Nurse Gabby, and their team my happiness and undeniable gratitude at giving me my life back!

Shelbi Carpenter is AMAZING! I have 4 teenage girls, all with very different skin issues, and Shelbi has been instrumental in helping us navigate the issues that come with hormones, sensitive skin, etc. all the while keeping the girls comfortable and confident in the way they look. She has the ability to connect with my girls by asking them about their daily life and remembering, during a follow up appointment, things that were discussed up to 6 weeks prior. That in itself goes above general care about patients and we love that about her. We are so thankful we have found a safe place to navigate skin issues during the teenage years.

My daughter went through a series of 5+ infections on her leg. We went to a few doctors and were eventually sent to dermatology because she continued to get infections. Within seconds of her exam, Shelbi had a diagnosis and treatment. We are almost one year infection free and are so thankful for Shelbi’s knowledge and professionalism. I’d highly recommend Shelbi and her staff if you are looking for any type of care in dermatology!

I went to Dr. Shelbi about my face being extremely dry and the changes I’ve experienced with it. She was talked down to me while I was in the office as well as when I finally got a call from her a month later. I went in with an issue and came out more frustrated because she was condescending. She did nothing while in the office except to tell me I can use an over the counter lotion but that it wouldn’t really help. Um.. OK. So why would I try that?

Dr Shelby Carpenter and staff at the Dermatology Group of Arkansas in Hot Springs is knowledgeable, compassionate, professional and all around amazing! I’ve had a serious dermatological issue for over 30 years and have had surgeries as well. The staff helped me with a proper diagnosis and treatment plan that finally works! Thank you! I’ve been through the ringer as far as doctors are concerned and unfortunately have not received any proper treatment until they helped me. I will refer ANYONE that needs help with dermatology issues to go see them!
