Positive: Professionalism, QualityI use the eyebrow threading service at Deluxe, and love it. The technicians are so precise, gentle (as much as can be haha) and really quick. It’s a great value compared to waxing at other shops in the area, and Deluxe does really nice contemporary brow shaping. They take walk ins for threading, which is what I do and don’t usually have to wait long if I avoid the obviously busiest times of the week. The shop decor isn’t fancy and I’m fine with that, it doesn’t effect service quality and I’m usually in and out. I use the eyebrow threading service at Deluxe, and love it. The technicians are so precise, gentle (as much as can be haha) and really quick. It’s a great value compared to waxing at other shops in the area, and Deluxe does really nice contemporary brow shaping. Critical: QualityI do not feel like I am in a professional or welcoming environment when I come here. I have had my eyebrows messed up many times here. The owner will be talking on the phone while doing my brows or stopping constantly to watch the TV. Sometimes she will be going so fast that she is just rushing you out of there. She does not pay attention to detail and my eyebrows always end up visibly uneven. I do not feel like I am in a professional or welcoming environment when I come here. I have had my eyebrows messed up many times here. The owner will be talking on the phone while doing my brows or stopping constantly to watch the TV. Sometimes she will be going so fast that she is just rushing you out of there. Have gone here many times to give it a fair shot but this last time was the last time I will be going there. I came to get my eyebrows threaded and the woman who did them just rushed through and did not make them even at all. One of my eyebrows has a straight shape and the other is completely arched. I know eyebrows aren’t supposed to be identical but this is blatant and ridiculous. She cut the front hairs too short on one eyebrow and left the other side so the straight side is thin and the other side and thick and arched. She also kept looking up inbetween my session to watch the movie that was playing!!! I am very unhappy with my eyebrows as I have been growing them out for months and now will need to start over and my brows are going to grow back differently as well. Only good thing was that it was not very painful at all.

OMG, all these positive reviews are right! Durga did a phenomenal job with my brows. I asked her if she was able to sculpt my brows a particular way and she did it quick and painless, with no fuss. I’d stopped going to get my brows done before I found these reviews because every other place I went to ALWAYS did it their way, no matter how I persisted otherwise. Durga will mist definitely be my permanent threader. My mother will be stopping by now too after seeing her beautiful work!
