Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueFirst of all the saloon stinks as rotten. I asked for faux locs, and her and the girl who works for her did a bad job. They acted like they were doing me a favor even if I paid 350$. They took 2 days to finish the job and the sections of my hair were all different and wrong. First of all the saloon stinks as rotten. I asked for faux locs, and her and the girl who works for her did a bad job. They acted like they were doing me a favor even if I paid 350$. They took 2 days to finish the job and the sections of my hair were all different and wrong. I was really disappointed and upset and I decided to take it down 3 days after. I JUST GOT MY HAIR IN PLAITS ON JUNE 1ST 2022!! I PAID ALMOST 200.00 JUST TO SEE PLAITS FALLING OUT WITH MY HAIR IN IT! PLAITS ARE SO TIGHT I CAN BARLEY THINK!! ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS NOW I DON’T KNOW IF I SHOULD TAKE THE REST OF THEM OUT ARE LEAVE THEM IN! BUT I WON’T EVER GO BACK THEIR AGAIN!! SIGHNED A VERY UNHAPPY CLIENT!!!!

This is the 3rd time I’ve had my hair braided here. I will never go anywhere else!!!! All very professional and sweet!! Not to mention very gentle! The owner and 2 others did small box braids for me in about 4 hours. She left my edges alone as requested, and when i left the shop my hair felt light and painless. All the braiders are awesome! You can’t go wrong with any of them.

I had braids that were braided and twisted at the ends. I had never seen that in my life. I would never come here again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. One star is too good for the experience that I had. Horrible and Unprofessional. I asked for three braids which are normally $10 per braid. The young girl (very rude and mean) stated that it would be $45 because my real hair was long (unheard of). I started to leave but her mom was very nice and charged me only $35. Then the rude young girl got very upset and stated that its unheard of to do three braids and asked me to show her a picture. Again, her mom came over and showed her a way to do three braids. Before, she began I told her not to braid my hair too tight around my edges. She got agitated (huffing and puffing). I really should have got up and walked out. I can’t tell anyone what to do or not to do as far as patronizing them, but I do know FOR SURE that I will not be going back. The young girl is very RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and MEAN SPIRITED. I’m very surprised that they are still in business. However, before I left there was a MALE that came in to get his hair twisted and might I say, he was greeted upon arrival, with a smile (might I add) and was in the chair in less than 30 seconds.. Come on dude, the women are your biggest clients. Get your attitude together.

Being new to the area, I’ve tried using other people and didn’t get quality work I was hoping for. I was referred to Dana’s by a coworker and thus far I’ve gotten two sets of braids from this shop. The ladies are nice and get you in and out in a timely matter. I don’t mind paying their prices as I believe in, if you want quality work you pay for it and I’m always getting compliments on my braids. I am very tender headed and I always communicate that with the ladies, before I sit in the chair and to be gentle with my edges. I also have problem with dry scalp so I always choose a style, were I can wash and condition my hair with the braids in. In addition, I try and give my hair a break for a few weeks before getting another set and keep my ends clipped. They have my business.

They do a good job with getting your hair done and making it neat. Just wish they stick to their word about prices. You go in and asked how much is this and that…She’ll tell you a price and then 2 days later she done went up $60..what change from today and 2 days ago? lol please explained
