My stylist, Barbara, did an excellent job! I walked in needing a serious trim and I left the salon feeling like she had completely transformed my head of hair. She has very solid skills with cutting and layering, and even some nice styling features at the end. I was very impressed with her calm, confident nature and friendly interactions. I am convinced that I won’t be going to any other stylist besides Barbara in the days ahead. She is a gem!

Ladies, this is a training salon for students just out of school (run by Beauty salon up the street) for them to see if they are good enough to work in their real salon, and to determine if they need more training. I have no problem with that, everyone has to start somewhere, but they should let their customers know. It is frequented by primarily men for a good reason. If you want a professional cut, or anything complicated or detailed, try the real salon that runs this place, or somewhere else. Supercuts is probably a safer bet. The girls are very friendly, but inexperienced. If you want to give a student an opportunity to learn, this is the place for you.

i found this salon through my roommate and absolutely loved it. what a cute little place it was. very chill. barbara was the girl who cut my hair and she was just the sweetest ever and so friendly. i think this was the first time in a while that i was not upset after my hair appointment. she did exactly what i wanted and it didn’t cost much at all. definitely will be coming back here!

I tend to call ahead to get on the list / get in line (*not a reservation*) before I drive over which helps smooth the process. Stylists are usually quick to get on and off the phone when I call which is also nice when I’m getting my hair cut.

I forgot the lady who cut my hair last night but she exceeded my expectations. Right away she was very pleasant and nice. We talked over what type of haircut style and length I wanted and that is what I got. She was able to carry conversation and cut my hair, all within 30 minutes. I usually really like my haircut from here and most people who work here are super friendly. Unfortunately, the last time I was here was a very odd experience. There were two women working (don’t know the names) and both were finishing with clients when I walked in. I had added my name to the list over the phone. While I was there someone had called to add their name to the list (it was about 4pm) and the woman who answered said they were booked the rest of the day when I don’t think they were (just speculation as she didn’t want to work late and said that to her coworker). The other woman finished the cut she was doing and then wanted to leave but the woman still cutting hair said she should stay and cut my hair. She didn’t seem to want to and I was just sitting there like I can leave if I need to since they didn’t seem to want to work. The woman ended up staying to cut my hair and I even said I could come back another day. I wanted collar bone length hair which was a fairly extreme change for me. She started in the back cutting my hair dry. By the time she got to the front it ended up being almost chin length (a good 3-4″ shorter than what I wanted). It was such a big change for me I didn’t quite realize how much shorter it was until I got home. She also didn’t wash or style it because she seemed in such a rush but she gave me a discount on the cut. This was about two months ago that this happened but I just wanted to share my uncomfortable experience. I thought I’d get used to how short my cut was but I’m still waiting for it to grow to where I’d like (which will be a few months).

Good haircuts and friendly stylists. However, the hugely varying wait times and no appointments allowed is a minus. The usually only have 1 or 2 stylists there, so I’ve stopped by and been told there is a 2 hour wait. Really?
