I went in to get my first pixie cut (I have always had my hair long so this was a big change) and Melanie was wonderful! She asked me questions and made sure I was confident in my decision, and was also very considerate about consent to be in my personal space/let me know when she was going to cut a different part of my hair. I came in with almost no direction about what I wanted and Melanie was great about working with my face shape to find something that suited me and let me customize as we went along. I’m especially happy with how the texturizing turned out. Very kind, helpful, and professional – will be back!

I booked an appointment online, arrived right on time and they were closed. Waited about 30 minutes and they never opened. There is no signage on the door to indicate house of operation or “out to lunch.” I came all the way from Emmett hoping for a 4.9 experience and got nothing. Very disappointed….

Changing my 5 star to 1.. the salon is friendly and atmosphere is beautiful, my first time there Joyce did my hair and she did fantastic job matching what I wanted, my recent visit wasn’t so impressive… I left with skunk stripes on side of my head and color patches on my ears and side of my face because she didn’t wash it all off.. I am pretty disappointed…..

Sliver Shears Salon is absolutely the best salon in the treasure valley! The atmosphere is perfect and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! Lane has been cutting and coloring my hair for the last 2 years and he is simply the best! He educates you on your hair and the products he sends you home with are amazing! I always walk out feeling like a superstar and always get compliments on how good I look! I refer all my friends and family to go see Lane!!
