A big thank you to Chris for doing my hair. She has been styling my hair for a long time and does a GREAT job. I do call for an appointment, BUT not necessary. She and her staff are in my opinion #1. Her salon is in a small shopping center near Crystal Lake South High School which is close to Randall Road. If Interested give them a call to find out what they charge for their services.

Got a haircut here and it was O.K. I’m not happy with how it turned out though. I got it in layers but not the “layers” I wanted. I don’t know why she insisted I get my ends in a “U” shape. I’m an easy person. This place is more of an “older” people salon. If you’re young like me (in your mid -late 20’s or younger ), I wouldn’t recommend going here. I stop in here as a walk in since they were open early than Ulta’s salon which I intended in going too and I needed a haircut before going to work. The others reviews were great which made me stop in here but this place isn’t for me…..this place is more for the old folks in town .

They charged me $120 for a perm when at the time, their site listed the price of a perm and cut and style as $75-85. The hair stylist cut my hair way shorter than I told her to, I assume so that she wouldn’t have to perm as much of my hair. I showed her the picture I would have liked my hair to look like, which I thought was a decently reasonable picture (not just pure InstaGlam), and she said, “Well, you know it’s not going to turn out like that.” To be fair, she was apparently right. My hair turned out extremely wirey, barely curly at all, and went from mid-back length to a couple inches past shoulder length, none of that is what I wanted.
