My wife bought me a gift certificate for a massage. Typically, I’m not too into professional massages. However, when I walked in to SRQ Salon and Spa it was very welcoming. The massage room was relaxing. Colleen did a fantastic therapeutic massage. It’s clear that she has tons of experience and expert knowledge in her field. My shoulders feel more open. She told me exercises to perform at home as well. I feel great and thank her for a super experience.

I got a massage from Colleen, the owner, and I could tell she was quite knowledgeable. Definitely more of a physical therapist than a regular masseuse. Took the time to ask me about muscle areas that needed extra work and actively recognized tense muscles in areas I didn’t even know had problems. She offered a lot of advice and even recommended specific books for those specific muscle groups, so she certainly treated me as more than just a customer. For me it was part massage and almost part chiropractic adjustment. She really took the time to observe, massage, and really work the parts of the body that needed it most instead of just doing the basic treatment. Prices are a little higher than average (I had a Groupon deal so it was even better) but for the type of customized experience I got I’d definitely recommend this place and go back.
