Critical: Professionalism, ValueI guess I have learned my lesson about giving a review only after the first visit.Danikka was actually very nice when we first met.However, I was surprised by her space. There was no lighting (NONE) except for a tiny window, her chair was in front of a small mirror. The buiding looks like a ran down crack house and her space was a small room up the stairwell.I wanted a weft but she talked me into Dream Catchers. They weren’t the right fit for my hair. They actually damaged my hair more than anything.The second appointment I made was for installation of 25 more pieces of hair. I am new to the extension processs so with Danikka being “an expert”, I thought that she would guide me along the way as into what I would be needing at my next appointment. I “assumed” (MY BAD) that I was getting my hair moved up, colored and fixed and instead she just added 25 more pieces to my hair and left the remaining 100 untouched when indeed they needed moving up. This isn’t what I would call being a professional. She didn’t color match my hair either. The add on’s were not the right color although she tried to up sell me with another 25. I left that day needing my hair colored, my 100 extensions NOT moved up and just 25 ugly brown add on’s that didn’t match the color she sold me.If you could imagine…..(!!!!)I left and had to go into a Walgreen’s to get a box color to fix (yes, fix my hair) after leaving a professional hairstylist. And after tipping her $50 for the terrible work that she had done. I had a dinner that night and thought I would leave with my hair colored, moved up and additional add on’s.Instead, I left mortified just by the process alone. She basically scolded me bc I didn’t know to make the type of appointment that she required me to make for everything that my hair needed.Who treats their clientele this way when you want them to return?!She is also based in Atlanta so I was frantically trying to find someone else to move my hair up bc she told me “girl, you better be careful when you brush bc that hair is about ready to fall out”! And she didn’t have time to fix it. WTH!!!Also, not to mention the terrible service…..she and I were talking and she happen to know my boyfriend and decided to talk to me about his ex girlfriend the entire time I sat there while she did my hair. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL ON A BRAND NEW LEVEL FOR ME!If she didn’t have my hair in her hands, I would’ve left as soon as she started talking. “NO DRAMA PLEASE”On my drive home I thought about texting her and when I got home I did and I knew that I would get her cocky attitude instead of an apology and how can I make this better? …You don’t keep client’s coming back when you are this rude and out of line.Hence, I would never ever suggest that you have someone on this level of rudeness touch your hair. There are too many hairstylist BASED in Nashville to go around!Fortunatley I have found “my girl” and she is amazing! Haven’t had an ounce of rudeness since the day I stopped seeing Danikka and my hair looks 100 times better.And I guarantee that I won’t have to sit in her chair and hear about my boyfriend’s ex girlfriend for over an hour!
