City Nails

Critical: Cleanliness, QualityI am originally from Lynn, and had heard great things about this location. So when I came to town and visited my family, I brought my niece and myself in for a full set. The woman Nisa who did my nieces nails, did an amazing job, so props to her. But the girl who did my nails was horrible. She rushed, didn’t say one word to me and barely asked me what I wanted. I just wanted a standard ombré , coffin shape. She didn’t take all my prior polish off (which was an olive green) that you can still see in the corners of my cuticles. They were lumpy, horrible shaped and way too long. Even though I asked for them to be shorter twice. When I left, I went home and immediately tried to shape them and fix them because I went to nail school and have been doing my own nails for years. So this picture is them IMPROVED, still disgusting. I am originally from Lynn, and had heard great things about this location. So when I came to town and visited my family, I brought my niece and myself in for a full set. The woman Nisa who did my nieces nails, did an amazing job, so props to her. But the girl who did my nails was horrible. She rushed, didn’t say one word to me and barely asked me what I wanted. Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismSophia was amazing! It was my very first time going there today (06-28-2021). I was so nervous but Sophia made me feel welcomed. I wanted long acrylics (manicure) but something simple and she did just that. Her work was so perfect. I didn’t know what I wanted done to my toes because it was my first time ever getting a pedicure. I’m a very simple person so when Sophia suggested white toes with gel, I went with it. And oh my gosh! My toes were so beautiful. I also I loved the chair giving me a back massage while I was getting my pedicure. Sophia was sweet. I can tell she loves what she does. Sophia was amazing! It was my very first time going there today (06-28-2021). I was so nervous but Sophia made me feel welcomed. I wanted long acrylics (manicure) but something simple and she did just that. Her work was so perfect. I didn’t know what I wanted done to my toes because it was my first time ever getting a pedicure. I’m a very simple person so when Sophia suggested white toes with gel, I went with it. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualitySo this is going to be one of those I don’t usually leave reviews but when I’m upset it calls for it and I’m really upset. Let’s review I originally called day before scheduling my appointment then proceeded the following day of my appointment to call 2 hours in advance appointment time was set for 3:00 p.m. I arrived 3:05 the nail technician that I booked for was way well into her current client. Upon arriving sitting down waiting 10 minutes before I’m acknowledged mind you it is not even busy at this point only to be told that somebody else was called in because it was uncertain if I was coming in or not. I am a returning client this would have been my third time getting service from this nail salon clearly they were overbooked and she tried to push me over onto somebody else even had the nerve to tell me come back tomorrow like I don’t live 35 minutes away.
