Office visit was easy in and out. Front office is pleasant to talk to. Procedures for office intake are smooth. Masks are required for all and provided for those who come without one. Saw Dr Seth Kates for something simple and he is such a funny doctor. He was good at easing my mind about the medicine and honest about procedures that would it would not work. He is great to work with.

Took my mother for her first appointment as she had some concerns of a few areas on her head, arms, face and inner thigh. There were a lot of people in the waiting room and we were seated about 25 minutes after we arrived. The medical assistant, Lee, was nice and tried to speak Spanish to my mom which we appreciated. The nurse practitioner we had, Yelena appeared to be in a big rush as soon as she walked in, and throughout the 5 minute “head-toe skin check”. She had what looked like a lighted magnifying instrument in her hand but from what I saw she was holding it sideways only while checking the sites of concern, only using the light and not through the magnifier. The medical assistant indicated that a “scope” would be used, but it wasn’t, it was just a light source. Then she was talking so fast and I had to interrupt her several times to point out the areas of concern which she glanced at and dismissed. Everything was so rushed we didn’t get a chance to bring up the spot on her face. I don’t know if she was rushing to leave, to go on break, or because their office was so busy, but it really was not reassuring. My mother lives mostly in a tropical climate with lots of sun, and it would be reasonable to expect a thorough skin check versus just a quick glance around and a visit with the provider that lasted all of MAYBE 8 minutes. I’m just hoping that because of Yelena’s urgency to leave the room doesn’t lead to an area being missed. It was extremely discouraging and hope it was just an “off ” day.

I brought my mother in law to have 2 spots removed and she had a wonderful experience from the front reception to the doctor himself all made her feel at ease. One and I wish I got her name took the time to write down what makeup would be good for an 82 year old woman and mailed it to her because she was busy with a patient and didn’t see us before we left.

Went for my yearly checkup since I have had skin cancer before. Dr. Kates is very personable and efficient. No long waits or visits, he concentrates on the patient to do a full check up without interruptions so you are out quickly if he finds nothing. Would highly recommend this practice.

Amazing team of medical professionals here. I was treated for severe acne and now it’s almost gone. Great experience. My only complaint is that reception can be slow when getting back. It’s very hard to have a prescription called in or to make an appointment when you’re not present in the office. I highly recommend this practice!

And I went there today as a follow up with a different staff member but they asked me if I wanted to see Yelena because of everything that’s going on.
