I started going to Brick Have for massages around a year ago when I relocated from Columbus. The massage therapists are really good, so I have been overlooking some customer service/management issues. For example, I have only been asked one time if I wanted to rebook, they have a membership program which no none bothered to offer or discuss until the last time I was in and they almost never tell you what location you will be at when they call to confirm.

Making an online appt was easy. I knew immediately who my esthetician would be. Received a few emails detailing each locations amenities and names of staff. So I knew which site I needed to go to. If you’re new plan on filling out some paperwork when you arrive. Parking at the 2nd location is not fun, this is especially true if you’re not from the area. I had to drive around the block several times but managed to land a spot right outside. Front desk person was very friendly. Nicole was also friendly. She followed all the safety guidelines I read a good esthetician should. Which helped to make my first waxing way better than I expected! Thank you!

My daughters and I have been going to the spa for years. When I think of a spa I think of warmth and friendliness…an environment that embodies comfort so that clients can unveil their flaws. I love this spa but unfortunately, my last visit didn’t meet my expectations. I arrived, had to park far away, walked in the rain to find out I was at the wrong location. I had to retrace my steps to my car, through the rain, and get in my car to park at the other location. I wish they would send texts to let clients know which location. The staff seemed unfriendly and I felt almost like a bother to them. I was taken upstairs, I undressed for a massage, and then told to dress and go downstairs where I had to wait twenty minutes in the lobby, be taken back to a room and asked to undress again in a cold room where I waited another ten minutes for a facial. These things I can overlook but when the staff member asked me if I wanted my arms to be massaged it caught me off guard. It’s part of the service. Then she asked, “do you want extractions or just skip it?” Both of these questions felt more like she was in a hurry because there was a scheduling conflict. But to top it off…I was scheduled for a peel and she asked me, “do you still want your peel?” I was dumbfounded because that’s what I was looking forward to. I asked her why, do I not need it? And she said that I did, but I would have to be committed to the process because it takes four peels once per month for a difference to be seen. I thought it was very rude. I think she just didn’t want to do the peel. So…they lost money because I didn’t get the peel and I don’t think I’ll be going back.

The member of the staff that provided the massage seemed very inexperienced. I felt I didn’t get the massage I paid for. I also felt obligated to leave a tip due to their signage in the room I was in. I was really let down by the whole experience.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst massages I’ve received. I put that I was having hip pain. She never once rubbed my hip or asked me about it. She also never touched my neck one time. I filled out the form expressing where I had pain and those weren’t even brought up. I also paid for a 60 min massage and received a 40 min massage. Normally when I receive a massage I leave feeling relaxed. I can’t even tell I had a massage today.
