Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve changed my review to 1 star primarily because the owner, Darlene, lost her professionalism and became rude on several occasions. The few great experiences are overshadowed by the owners’s aggressiveness. I found her behavior bully-ish by texting me accusations that my kid of left a few candy wrappers on her floor. If it was him, then I take full responsibility; however, she was not at the salon the time I was there. Still, she came to the conclusion that she needed to text me on a Sunday evening, a day the salon isn’t open to complain and start an argument disrupting Sunday dinner with my family. On the second occasion, I couldn’t deal with her hostility or accusations anymore against my son.Still, the great reviews for the salon are accurate- the salon is spacious, beautiful, and clean. The stylists are great. The prices are so reasonable. Darlene responds quickly and can be professional. We are all growing and this may only be an area of improvement, my hope is that she grows, and considers the ways in which she is treating members of her own community. I am deeply upset by my interaction with Darlene, even her response to me sharing my experience below seems passive aggressive. However, she is still a member of my community, and I intend no disrespect- only accountability. I’ve changed my review to 1 star primarily because the owner, Darlene, lost her professionalism and became rude on several occasions. The few great experiences are overshadowed by the owners’s aggressiveness. I found her behavior bully-ish by texting me accusations that my kid of left a few candy wrappers on her floor.
