I was slightly hesitant to go to Kylei at first because her websites highlights her passion for for unique colorful hair and dreadlocks. I was looking for something more natural and wasn’t sure this would be the place for that. However, I’m so glad saw the countless positive reviews of Kylei Shea Styles and decided to go to her anyways because she did a PHENOMENAL job. Prices are very affordable. Kylei is a wonderful person. And my hair looks healthy, beautifully blended, and very natural. Every once in awhile you get lucky. That’s how I feel about finding Kylei! Moved to Madison this summer and had to find a new stylist. Always a challenge if you don’t know anyone! Finally did a Google search of “best hair stylists near me” and KyleiShea came up. Read the other reviews, looked at the photos, and decided to take the plunge. Thank goodness!

I am known to be very high maintenance when it comes to haircuts and I’ve always been silly selective with my stylists. I was a client exclusively to the top stylist at Aniu in Middleton for almost a decade, I followed him from the salon and spa to his own independent space and the only fault I ever found was with scheduling. That being said I just couldn’t make appointment times that I was happy with anymore… so I decided to look for another stylist just to try out-once. I had read a handful of reviews for KyleiShea Styles and they seemed promising but I had some reservations because I was with the same stylist for so long that I was afraid to ever try anyone else. I had had some poor experiences in the past and I am so sensitive about my hair. Let me say that she did exactly what I wanted and I made sure to go to her twice to make sure it wasn’t a happy accident. I am so thoroughly impressed by her!!! I have never found a stylist that I felt more comfortable talking with and I left with a haircut that is equal to or better than one I would get at ANY top dollar salon in town. I am so happy I have found her, I recommend her to anyone and everyone now.

Kylei is fantastic! I have bought a few groupons to try out different hair places and this has been the best I’ve found in Madison. The normal, bon-groupon price is reasonable, as well. Kylei is very knowledgeable, a joy to talk to while sitting in the styling chair, and she did a wonderful job with my hair! She gave me tips on how to care for it, and I really appreciated how little she pushed me to buy shampoo. I asked a bunch of questions about what she used, out of interest. Often times, people take that as a signal to sell customers something. Kylei did not. She simply told me all about the shampoo and didn’t try to get me to buy it. I appreciated that. Kylei also took great care with my cut and blowout. I have very thick hair, and stylists often leave it a little damp because it takes so long to blow out. Kylei took her time and my hair turned out amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend going!

I had a Groupon here a few months ago and went in for a cut and color. I was not sure what exactly I wanted but Kylei was very thoughtful about what would look best and recommended balayage. I could not be happier with the service, cut, and color I received. Will be back!
