Temby is amazing! She has great customer service. Provided bottled water when she noticed I was coughing. My daughter had originally started my locs during COVID so the parts were not straight. I HIGHLY recommend this place for all your braiding needs. I went here for the first time yesterday for feed in braids and Thembi did an AMAZING job. I was rescheduled twice, but the second time was when I was already at the shop because no one had the professionalism to pick up the phone and text to say “I’m sorry, but we’re still working on other clients and it will be this much time.” I called before the appointment and no one answered, so I drove up there. They let me sit there for 15 mins. without saying hello and then said it was going to be another hour wait. No ma’am, I will not be back.

Sisterlocks install – I absolutely cannot recommend this salon enough, personable, knowledgeable, and quality service. I started my sisterlocks and thanks to the professionalism I found at Bradilocks Salon, they are off to a great start! My loctician is Thembi. She was patient, took her time and treated me very well. She told me what to do and not to do and the outcome was perfect! She’s very skilled and so sweet. I highly recommend her and Braidilocks Salon!

I did not have a good experience. The salon was closed when I arrived for my scheduled consultation appointment. Then I received a text while I was waiting in my car for them to open, stating that my appointment was at a different time. I somehow had two appointments all of the sudden. I should have taken the (sign) first impression and left. However, I decided to stay and give them a try. Things happen, right? Well she proceeded to access my hair and answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable so I decided to let her install some tester locks and scheduled my next appointment. At exactly 10:20pm the night before my scheduled appointment I received a texted from her informing me that she could not honor my appointment at 8am and asking if I’d be willing to change it to 1pm. I was not able to do this and installing sisterlocs that late and going to work the next morning is a no go. After informing her of that, She then suggested that we reschedule for Wednesday. Now keep in mind that if you cancel with them on that short of a notice you’d still be required to pay a percentage of your scheduled service. With that being said there’s no compensation for your inconvenience and apparently no apology either. I finally got her to remove the locs from my hair. I was contemplating returning to let her go ahead and do the install just so it wouldn’t be $60.00 down the drain, but on second thought. It was not following with my first thoughts that got me into this in the first place. I’m gonna go ahead and call it a loss, and find a more professional loctictan. This really derailed my journey, as finding a Certified Sisterloc TM. loctictan is not an easy task, and getting an appointment is an even harder one. Also, this is a very expensive investment. I’m gonna go with someone that will appreciate having a new regular client. Use your best judgment when looking for a beautician.
