The barber did a pretty good job but the stylist dead almost ruined my dreads!!.. i asked for barrel twist like King VON or lil Durk & i was told she could do it and she was nice. Left Very disappointed because she DID NOT re twist my dreads at ALL she didn’t even wet my dreads or use twisting gel before retwisting! She used grease and moose like they were cornrows or braids smh and it looked a HOT MESS! Dreads ended up looking worst than when i walked in FR smh and all the double barreled twist fell out within 45 mins tops i had to retwist them myself after paying someone to do so.. when i got in my car I noticed some were mostly comming undone already. The rubber bands she used were extremely cheap and plastic like, they couldn’t even hold my hair at all and they all popped quick and even though the price was 20 bucks cheaper than a retwist in a high end salon it truly was NOT worth it especially with her taking 2 & a half hrs to not even lock my dreads back up from the roots down before starting barrel twist.. i drove almost a hr to get there and even called in late kuz she took so long but if I didn’t work in a High Volume 5 star restaurant as a server and bartender I wouldn’t be as upset as i am. I mentioned how i need to look good for my profession and went to work looking like a savage fr. Honestly thanks to the barber i looked somewhat decent. He did a fine job and was quixk and had a great vibe. You can tell hes a dope person and he also had a great price nice looking shop, it smells good in there and its a comfortable pleasant environment with TVs and great music. I was greeted upon arrival but had to wait 25 mins for the stylist when i was a few mins late myself. I would recommend going there for haircuts. MAYBE cornrows but not for dreads.
