super late to post this review, but i got 2 tattoos done with John (my first tattoos actually!) in the beginning of the year with my significant other & he did such an amazing job. he calmed me down from my nerves when we first started tattooing & he was so light handed! he’s such a funny guy & has such a welcoming personality. i’m actually writing this review because i had to search him up again because i’m thinking of getting another tattoo real soon.

He was able to fit us into his schedule the day after we called and was a professional through the whole process. This was my wife’s first tattoo and she was at ease at Jon’s tattoo shop. We both love how our tattoos came out and would come back to Jon’s shop again with no hesitation.

I am a 54 year old Vancouverite getting my very first tattoo at the end of an amazing vacation. John was professional from the second He answered the phone through our consultation. He walked me through the steps, and explained every detail for a first timer to fully understand. He quoted a price, we worked on the design together and I am over the moon with the result. I recommend him fully!! The artwork is gorgeous. I went with a tribal Honu with sharks inside.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I’ve wanted to do this for many years, but never found an artist I trusted enough until Brian. He free-handed this (aside from the foot prints) and I couldn’t be happier. We have since moved to Maui but will come back for all our future tattoo because that’s how good he is. The shop is welcoming and clean, prices are fair, and the people are super chill and overflowing with aloha.
