UPDATE: 9/16/22 Powder gel is still the way to go here. Do not try the new chrome O.P.I. gel colors…the coloring appear splotchy and uneven and it’s a $10 surcharge. I guess it’s a new gel technology where they apply what looks like an eyeshadow compact powder on the nail with an eyeshadow applicator….they either need more practice using this, or this is an O.P.I. failure.

I really like this place. Their prices are average: $25 for pedicure & $12 for a manicure. They have plenty of workers & usually seem very busy but I’ve always been able to walk in & get taken immediately. They do a fine job & one woman just gave me a really thorough pedicure. She did, however, shape my nails square when I asked for round, but they were still good. So, hey, with masks & all maybe she didn’t hear me & I can live with it. So, yes, masks & plastic dividers, I like that. And, hey, it’s right near a good gym, NBD & a Dollar Tree, 2 other good places. I definitely recommend Bloom’s.

I have been going here for over six years. They do really great work when it comes to pedicures, eyebrows and massages. Do not come here to get your fingernails done. It is not some thing they do consistently well. I feel bad for those that spent $90 for a manicure and pedicure and hate their manicure/ tips. They are friendly and the pedicures are great- they take their time especially if you get a green tea or lavender specialty pedicure. Beware do not come here for acrylics or gel. They don’t last long.

Critical: QualityI have been going here for the past 4 years and will no longer be going to this establishment. I visited to get a gel manicure tip set that I was getting my nails done for my wedding, which i disclosed to the nail tech. She rushed to get my nails done so she could move on to the next client. I had to request for my nails to be fixed 4 times and she still continued to rush through fixing them… in the end I wasn’t completely satisfied, but was too frustrated to argue. The day of my wedding, the gel tip on my thumb came off. Two days later, two more tips came off.
