I have been looking for a nail technician that uses the Creative brand of acrylic product and was very happy to find one here in Yuma, AZ. When I arrived at the salon for my first appointment, I was very disappointed at the cleanliness and appearance. There was a large bag of garbage sitting on the floor, it was actually spilling out of the top, along with various other piles of garbage in different areas of the salon, including on top of the storage containers for the nail supplies. The technician was not quite as personable as I was used to, she seemed irritated to be there but I just tried to brush it off and was eager to get my nails done since I had seen some great work in online pictures. She was running behind which is fine, I don’t usually get too worked up about that stuff unless I have somewhere else to be. I really liked my nails when she was done with them even though they were quite a bit thicker than what I am used to. I then decided that, since I did like my nails the first time, I would give the owner the benefit of the doubt and try again. I booked my appointment and when I arrived at the salon, it was just as dirty, if not more so, than it had been the first time that I went there. She was also running behind again and this time, I was kind of on more of a schedule than I was the first time that I had been there. She was still just as grumpy as she had been the first time, I felt like I was intruding and that I shouldn’t have been there. When my nails were done, after I left, I was inspecting them and this time, they weren’t nearly as nice as they had been the first time. My right hand nails are significantly longer than my left hand, and the nails on my left hand aren’t even shaped to match the right hand. There is also a dent in the top of every single one of the nails on my left hand between where the whites are and the pink. I expect to pay a little more for quality nails but I paid more and didn’t get what I paid for. I won’t ever be going back.
