Today was my first time at Bijou. I am blown away at how great my hair turned out. Laura is a miracle worker! I went from about 5 different shades of blonde and brown to platinum. All of the staff is friendly and personable. They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend this salon if you’re looking to go blonde.

Full disclosure here… I am a Hispanic and Black 30 something woman who spent most of her 20s damaging her hair. Once I matured, I realized I didn’t have the kind of hair anyone could play with. She listened to my “hair story” and really made me feel cared for. She is an absolute professional and knows exactly what she’s doing. I was scrambling to find a place after moving and not having a salon for the first time in my life. I had an appointment with Laura and she was so friendly and did a great job with my hair and listened to me about what I wanted. The hair washing stations were actually comfortable. The place is super clean and they are following all safety precautions. Lastly there is the cutest little dog there that’s a mascot/service puppy and I’m in love with her. I can’t wait to go back here and get a super short cut in a few months.

Absolutely amazing! From the minute I walked in the door for my for my appointment I felt welcomed by the staff and completely comfortable they are all so friendly. I have curly hair and finding a new hairdresser and style is nerve wracking. I met with Hannah who did a thorough consultation of my curls and daily routine and then gave me the best haircut ever. She took the time to walk me through the products and how to apply them to replicate the look.

I’ve been looking for over 5 years for a good salon in Mercer county and I finally found it! My first impression was through their website (very transparent on pricing), the Instagram photos, and then a friend told me to go see Laura. The owner was also really helpful via Instagram messenger to help me figure out which stylist to see before booking my appt. I have thin straight hair that never seems to look great. But Laura gave me an awesome cut with some cute bangs and highlights. She is highly specialized in both cuts and color. I definitely recommend this salon if you’re looking for experienced stylists. So happy I found this place!
