My mom came here for an appointment to get a filling. They looked at her nails, told her they only take cash. The woman grabbed my mom’s WALKER and told her to leave. This is no place to go, they should be put out of business, they are horrible, and to someone who is handicapped!

I’m pleased with the turnout of my nails but the husband took forever to take the polish off. She didn’t take all of the old polish off before she filled my nails and polished them. While he was doing my nails, a lady came in who had an appointment and they were absolutely RUDE to her from the start. After the husband took her polish off, she moved to the next station and they raised the price of her nails, she walked out and I would have done the same if i was treated the way she was. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Critical: Quality, ValueThe wife was very friendly and it seemed clean. Be aware CASH ONLY, they also charge extra for removing gel polish. Unfortunately, the callous removal was not effective at all. The nail & cuticle removal was very agressive. We went last week and my toe is still sore. My daughter was bleeding on 4 of her toes, so badly on one that they had to use powder to stop the bleeding. Sadly, we will not go back.Service: PedicureThe wife was very friendly and it seemed clean. Be aware CASH ONLY, they also charge extra for removing gel polish. This was the weirdest pedicure experience I’ve ever had. I sat in the chair and the husband took off my old polish and did the “deluxe” spa treatment of a scrub and a hot stone massage. The stones weren’t hot and the massage was short and not very good. Don’t spend the extra $10 for the deluxe. Then the wife came and trimmed my nails and painted. She cut my cuticle and made it bleed badly enough that she had to get the powder to stop the bleed, she never apologized. Usually the relaxing part of the pedicure (scrubs and massage) comes at the end after they’ve “worked” on your feet so you leave feeling relaxed. I left with a sore toe and was not relaxed at all.

Not planning on returning here. I came in for a pedicure. As I was picking a polish color the gentleman informed me gel polish was $15 extra. That seemed a little steep and not comparable to any other pedicure price I have paid at a low end, walk in salon, but ok… I was willing to pay.

It was really hard to find a nail salon in Newport that could accommodate more than one person at a time. I was there for my wedding and wanted a simple pedicure and manicure for the big day. She did a good job of the manicure, but I was disappointed by the pedicure. Paid $10 more for “deluxe” and there barely a stone massage and NO callous removal whatsoever. In fact, he didn’t even touch the bottom of my foot. My mom asked her not to cut cuticles on her toes and she didn’t listen and my mom is still hobbling around days later. Also they ONLY take cash or check.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueGreat quiet, clean place to stop in and get your nails done by the nicest lady. She is the only one there, so be patient and make an appointment. SHE IS WORTH IT. Got a red full set and matching toes on a little vacay I am taking ! I would upload my photos but I don’t see the option too ‍♀️Services: Manicure, Pedicure

Critical: Quality, ValueAppointment made in advance was required and we arrived on time for our his and hers pedicures. Traveling on vacation, we were grateful to find a location on short notice. We were stopped at the door by the husband and told we must wait outside. 7 minutes later we were invited in but told to go wash our hands, then fill out an intake sheet on Covid-19. I get it, people are freaking out about this “fake” pandemic and businesses have to comply or be fined or closed by the State or City. I get it. It is just annoying how we have let ourselves be duped into this pandemic which is not more serious than a flu.Anyway, the service was just okay. Husband doesn’t know nails and his performance was inexperienced. Wife (owner) was fair in her service as they tag teamed us for our pedicure experience.Prices were fair. Big surprise was they made us take the nail file and scrub block (Covid-19 regulations) and then charged us $2 each for something we did not want or need. Then an upcharge of $5 for flowers painted on my wife’s big toe fresh nail polish. Only a few bucks but was a last minute surprise not discussed until all services were complete.I wish them well, but the poor to average quality of service makes this location my “not preferred” place for nails.Service: PedicureAppointment made in advance was required and we arrived on time for our his and hers pedicures.
