Finding Kassie and Beauty Ecology has been a great blessing! I can actually feel GOOD about coloring my hair; it was hard to believe I could get such great results without the ammonia smell and harmful chemicals. Kassie picked the perfect shade from day one and the way she adds the highlights is amazing; I like my hair better now than before I ever colored it! Love this place and the new salon! I’ve been seeing Kassandra, owner, for my cut and color for well over 5 years. I always tell her to “do what you you want” and have never left disappointed. I visited Kasia last week for my first ever natural, ammonia-free (minus several other nasty chemicals!) hair color. From the moment I walked in (this was my first visit, too) I was warmly greeted and welcomed by Lauren, the salon manager and then the owner, Kassandra. I am SO pleased with the results of my hair color! Kassandra, gave me exactly what I wanted in terms of color and highlights, and her service and level of professionalism was across the board extradordinary! I found Beauty Ecology because I wanted a safe alternative to the color products in salons. I have stayed at Beauty Ecology because of the results and because of Kassandra. I had highlights and some touch-ups done (for grays) recently and the color is beautiful and natural. The texture of my hair now is amazing. I live in New York City but THIS is where I prefer to get my hair done! Kassandra is an expert, plus always so friendly and accommodating. She’s also created some of the best hair products that I’ve ever tried (and I’m a health and wellness coach, so I’ve tried a lot!!). The best part about this place is that you can feel completely safe with the dyes and products that they use. What they use at conventional salons is NOT good for your health! You do not want to end up getting cancer like Jackie O from having your hair dyed with toxic chemicals. Go here instead. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable…another reason I wish they had a location in NYC!
