I had a horrible experience at 2 other eyebrow places within 24 hours and was desperate to get my eyebrows to look normal. I went to beauty brands on state line and 135th, explained my issue while crying and the manager called over to the 119th and Metcalf location to get me in as they didn’t have an esthetician on staff today. Metcalf got me in with Ivey immediately. Upon meeting her she was very empathetic to my situation and we worked together to fix this horrible ordeal as best as we could. With her compassion, friendly and warm nature I WILL ALWAYS go to her for ALL of my esthetician needs. I left smiling and warm feeling. Ivey knows her stuff and is very honest and up front. Went in looking for some dry shampoo and the woman was very helpful, and even showed me where I could spray them to smell them before purchasing, plus they were on sale! It was very clean and bright and I will definitely be going back.

I keep making the mistake of going back here because the prices are cheap but every time they cut my hair it looks horrible and I have to pay to get it fixed elsewhere. I got a refund for the haircut this time, but I will not be coming back here. If you have thicker hair that’s harder to cut I would recommend going to a real salon. I don’t think the stylists here have the right skills to be dealing with different volume or textured hair.
