I came a few mins early and I walked in and was greeted nicely and asked who I was.I was asked how I wanted my hair braided.I was put in chair right away.My hair was done quickly and I love it. I expected to be there for hours I was not my hair was done fast and I was on my way.This was my first time and I will go back. This salon was recommended by my daughter.Great work I love my style. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! Me and my homegirl walked in there with an appointment set !!!!!! Yes , we had a cup with a drink in our hand & we were very polite & excited to get our hair done ! My friend asked nicely to get her braids not done too tight but explained she was not tender headed … she then said she was not doing her hair because she was scared & did not want to risk it. My friend then explained she just wanted 4 braid and explained she did not want them done too tight , she still proceeded to not want to braid her hair & also made a comment about us waiting outside for our ride. They where very unprofessional and rude ! I told them they were completely unprofessional & I Would be writing a review. . They did not care. And still asked us to leave. Making us very uncomfortable

Critical: ProfessionalismTwo very unprofessional women with no respect for clients. I made an appointment for my husband to braid his hair and when he got there, they made fun of his hair, mocking and asking why he was there. All they had to do was say “no we can’t braid your type of hair” But they displayed hostility, unprofessionalism and gross disrespect towards him. Two very unprofessional women with no respect for clients. I made an appointment for my husband to braid his hair and when he got there, they made fun of his hair, mocking and asking why he was there. All they had to do was say “no we can’t braid your type of hair” But they displayed hostility, unprofessionalism and gross disrespect towards him. I went there after calling them and making appointment and all they did was make fun of my hair, mocking and asking why I wanted braids with my “short“ hair. They were saying all manner of loud insulting insinuations in their native language. The second time I went they behaved like they had never seen me and were offended all over again for coming to them… I couldn’t stand their humiliation so I walked out this time. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis was my first time in this salon. The ladies at the hair salon did a very good job on my hair and I just showed them a picture of the braids i wanted to get. They were on time too so immediately I walked in for my appointment, I was seated in the big chair to get my hair done. The shop was neat and they wore masks because of COVID-19. I was very impressed with the results of their work; I’m getting a lot of compliments at work on my hair. Will definitely recommend them, already gave my coworker their information. The only negative I would say is them speaking loudly over your head in another language you don’t know if they’re talking about you, and the baby people mentioned in other reviews was there but didn’t bother me. This was my first time in this salon. The ladies at the hair salon did a very good job on my hair and I just showed them a picture of the braids i wanted to get. Very unprofessional. Been here twice. First time braider was pregnant and took excessively long (understandable) second time she brought her child to work. I went there specifically to get my hair PROFESSIONALLY done and felt like I was at my cousins house getting braids in the basement. I got no apologies, no warning, no discount as she stopped about every 5 to 10 minutes to tend to her child. I understand to a certain extent. It is unprofessional to bring your baby to work. I was a paying customer and was very disappointed. Another customer who was getting the same style left for 1.5 hours in the middle of getting her hair done for an emergency and returned and STILL finished before I did (we started at the same time). They do a great job but my experiences were very disappointing.

Went to make an appointment. Antoinette didn’t have an available appointment this weekend. Cool. But owner was dismissive, walked away while talking to me, didnt offer another time. RuDe!! Her associate seemed to be more polite but she was doing someone’s hair and her focus was there. I see why they were rated with poor customer service and unprofessionalism. Going to Bridgeport or New Haven. I’m not chasing or begging anyone to act like they want my money. I’m SO good. If you dont mind rude hairbraiders then spend your money here. For me courtesy 1st, professionalism and quality. She missed the mark on the first two, again apparently. Been there done that won’t visit again.

Very unprofessional the braider cut my real hair through the braids she is very jealous of black women with long hair. And she was very rude. Plus it is very unprofessional to have a busy child in the workplace she was getting into all the braiding hair plus the hair that I brought in. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
