Absolutely awful experience. I came in for my birthday mani/pedi and left angry & disappointed. Not only did they cut my fingers in multiple places, but their tools didn’t out come in sterile separate packaging. Instead, the tools looked like they were just stuffed into a drawer and who knows if they had been cleaned and properly sanitized. I was in a bit of a time crunch though, so I thought maybe things would improve throughout the appointment… unfortunately, they did not. After they had finished my nails, they told me it would be $84 so I said I would have to use their ATM. Then I clarified again “$84 right?” To which they agreed but by the time I got back up to their desk, they said “no, $84 for manicure, but $125 for both”. So first, why would you even tell me $84 twice then change it? And secondly, $125 for a subpar mani pedi in Jersey City which literally had me worried about infection (they didn’t even disinfect my cuts, I had to do it first thing when I got home) is CRAZY. I had chosen the gel basic pedi and pointed to it on their menu WHERE THE SUPPOSED PRICE WAS LISTED then once it was time to pay they THEN wanted to inform me that gel was $15 extra. Do not go here unless you enjoy sketchy hygiene protocol for a midtown Manhattan price. Not sure who they think they are but I will NEVER be giving them my business again.

Friendly. But as far as technique. I would give zero stars. The lady had no clue how blend colors for the choice of ombré I chose. I asked for stiletto! Square tip she literally shaped my nails is pointy daggers. I paid 110! To go behind her an have them fixed. My acrylic is lumpy in spots . My ring finger the nail is slightly bent up it’s noticeable. Idc how friendly they are the work is not worth! 110$! An I also shouldn’t have to tell u repeatedly of the specific shape I asked for and also showed the pic of EXACTLY what was wanted.

Ground Breaking Property
As a long- term customer I am disappointed. Over the years they con you for your money…. You ask for one service and they charge and service you for what you didn’t ask for without them telling you. It was done to me for a basic pedicure and they serviced and charged me for a spa pedicure. Now a friend that I referred to her place of business is being charged for a full set while only getting a fill-in. Know your prices and know your service if you continue to go there.

As a off and on customer here for years I am shocked at how bad this service has become. I recently went there for a fill – in which was 65$ when I just previously paid 65$ two weeks ago for a full set. I spoke to Annie about this and she told me a full set Is the same price as the fill- in. The prices listed inside the salon do not reflect what you will be charged. I got my eyelash done the same day …. The woman’s arm rested on my head throughout the whole application, by the time I was done my hair was frizzy from the friction of her arm. As I got up I asked for a tissue because my eyes were tearing … the woman just stared at me .. I literally just grabbed it myself. I will no longer be a customer at Annie’s nail and spa please do not come here. They also talk to the black customers as if they can’t pay and force you to pay ATM fees instead of just swiping your debit card. Annie sucked her teeth at me because I refused to you the ATM. Although I witnessed her take the previous customers card just fine without a question. This place is disgusting

I did a deep powder full set. Because of Chinese new year, there were not many staffs on that day so, they were in hurry when I got my nails done (I guess it was kind of the peak time). The lady cut my finger 3 times when she used the drill machine… and thickness of my nails was irregular. I was not happy about it since it was my first time to visit there. My friend got her nails done from the other lady. She did good job tho. Other than that, the staffs were very friendly.
