I made an appointment with these gentlemen which cost $11. I arrived the next day and showed my barber a picture of what I wanted, and he commenced with his work. I got both a haircut ($20) and a shave ($20). The whole procedure lasted about 40 minutes. In total, I spent $52 (there’s a surcharge on debit payments of $1). This certainly sounds pricey, and indeed it is for such a place as La Presa where most things are generally inexpensive, but for the experience and quality of workmanship I say it is worth every penny. These gentlemen are serious and competent about their craft of cutting hair and making men feel their best. They are also engaging and can keep an air of fun to add to the atmosphere of men partaking in this time-honored tradition (one of the barbers pleasantly added I looked 20 years younger after my transformation). I felt rejuvenated and energized by my experience, and it is my hope that this business attracts more customers so they can grow to better enrich themselves and this growing community.
