I’m not one to write horrible reviews but on my sister’s wedding day I feel this place robbed me and the bridal party, starting with our $150 deposit that was absorbed bc 2 out of our 7 cancelled because they had COVID. As if my sister’s wedding day wasn’t already ruined bc her sisters had Covid, they kept their money too. Now for the hair and makeup – For $155 each, half of our bridal party was not happy with their makeup or hair. For $155 I got ELF makeup and hair that, while pretty, was not like anything I asked for. My makeup, as you can see, looked crusty and was not even blended. My eyebrows were not even filled in properly. I actually had to remove most of my makeup and redo it before the wedding, as the maid of honor. I paid for these services so I did not have to worry about anything that day and it seemed this place, from absorbing our deposit from sick people (who also had sick children at home) to having to redo my makeup, made the day worse.

I was a client since they opened, but have decided to not return. AMS is a beautiful salon with many amenities, and I agree with most positive points expressed here. However, my personal experience was lacking during the last few visits. While reception wasn’t rude (too common these days unfortunately), they weren’t really welcoming either. For example, a more enthusiastic (not fake) greeting and some initiative such as asking when the client would like to schedule their next appointment go a long way. I had no issues with my haircuts and really liked my stylist. But scheduling with her became difficult because of decreased availability, and I believe she is transitioning to a new career eventually. Also, I felt rushed at times and just didn’t get that relaxing salon experience. My plan was to find another stylist there if she left, but I just didn’t feel the vibe was right anymore for me.

From derma-plane facials, to mani-pedis, to wedding updos and airbrush makeup — AMS Loft Salon & Bridal is a hidden gem. Their bridal suite is perfect for a bridal party to enjoy getting ready together. Maura is a hair queen and I recommend her for all brides! Nikole is my go-to esthetician and lash guru. After one facial with her I’ve completely changed my skin care routine and it’s changed my life. Lea did my make-up for my wedding day and while I was worried it wasn’t natural enough – my pictures say otherwise. She knows exactly how to compliment a clients facial features so it looks beautiful for professional photography! I’m so lucky to have found ya’ll as my go-to salon for *everything* and highly recommend them to everyone. They are the best!

I had my first appointment at AMS Loft a few weeks ago. Finding a new salon can be difficult so I was a little nervous before I went in; when I walked in, I was greeted by a few employees who were super friendly so immediately I felt comfortable and relaxed. Maura cut my hair and did such an outstanding job, she took her time and went far above my expectations. I received so many compliments on my haircut afterwards! The salon is also beautiful, clean, and in a great location (the parking lot was also spacious, which is always good). Five stars!!

I went to AMS for a new cut and some color. I was just thrilled with how attentive the staff was and now they helped each other out – interacting with each other client’s, sharing thoughts and ideas, etc. After a day or two I realized my color needed a little adjustment (not uncommon) and they took me right away and we figured out what needed to be done. I met or interacted with a number of the stylists and they were all so helpful and kind! I absolutely love my cut and the tweaks to my color were perfect! The salon is stunning! (And the sinks are the most comfortable I have ever had a wash in!) I really liked that there are some comfy places (including seating by a fireplace) to relax while color or other services process. These areas make the atmosphere so welcoming. I would most definitely recommend this salon.
