This is the second time I come to this Nail salón and it’s unfortunate they cant do a proper manicure/refill. The first time the Lady added the nail product and forgot to FILE entirely. The borders or the nail where uneven and the cuticle part of the nail was sticking out. This time I returned and explained what happened last time and gave them a chance without asking for any discount from last time. I asked for oval nails, I had to get a refill. The lady did it very fast and I had to file some of my nails in the spot which were so uneven. My nails did not end up oval, but a round/square shape. The painting wasnt good either. Bad experience but I hope they can train their staff more, and not rush through their sessions to attend more clients.

You will get a much better pedicure at Orchid Nails around the corner. I came to American nails since I was unable to get in at Orchid. It had been about a year since I had come to American Nails last. Unfortunately, my pedicure wasn’t very good. She didn’t trim my cuticles well, cut my nails so short they hurt and were not even. The polish job is eh (due to the polish being diluted). I won’t be coming back. There are too many nail salons in the area that do a much better job.

I went with my cousin to get a mani/ped they made my cousin wait like an hour to get his feet done to the point the water was cold. It looks super unhygienic to the point that it looked like they reuse the same tools for everyone and just clean them with water. I was taken right away for the pedi it lasted for a total of like 15 mins. she was acting super rushed but there weren’t many people there. My feet turned out okay. The real problem was the mani she asked me to pay first for the services which I was confused but can understand that sometimes people don’t pay so I didn’t think of it twice. Which I thought was just their policy but then I noticed other clients weren’t charged before their services first just me? I couldn’t help but think it was racially motivated hence me and my cousin being the only people of color there. She then proceed to do a terrible job on my nails and only painted half of my nail leaving parts of it unpainted when I asked her to fix it please she started yelling super loud in her language and ignored me. Definitely would stay away from this place. they just want a quick buck and don’t care about building relationships with their clients. On the other note The lady that did my cousins pedi was sweet and we made sure She was taken care.

If you’re COVID cautious, I do not recommend. I’ve been getting my eyebrows done here for years, and I didn’t want to risk going somewhere new during COVID. I was disappointed to see that few of the employees wore masks properly, and I was very concerned when the lady who did my eyebrows didn’t wear a mask at all. Lastly, I was disappointed with the politeness of the lady who did my eyebrows; the only words she spoke to me was “pay upfront” and “$10 dollars.” Next time, I will be going somewhere new because it wasn’t worth the COVID risk, and the staff were not as friendly as they have been in the past.

Bad experience here today. I wanted a manicure and woman working on my nails tried to sell me on a gel manicure. I said no, I just wanted a regular manicure. After asking me 3 or 4 more times, she rushed ,jabbed under my nail and did a horrible job on my manicure. Will never go there again!

Becky is my pedicurist. She is friendly, efficient, careful, thorough, and an all-around great person to do this job! I recommend her to anyone wanting the best! (I did have a bad experience with one other person who was unfriendly, seemed sort of angry and unhappy working there.)
