8 months ago I visited this salon and the stylist who did my daughter’s hair did a FANTASTIC job and I was very pleased because she cornrowed my daughter’s hair exactly as the picture that I provided her. Although, she gave me a hard time about me washing my daughter’s hair before her appointment in the future to save time even though washing is included. Her hair was done neat and washed thoroughly. I also had my hair done here in the past and I was happy with the finished style that I requested. I will definitely come back in the future.

She asked me questions about how I take care of it, products that I use, what I wanted. The shop is clean and inviting. Everyone who worked there was complimentary to me about my hair when it was done. I looked and felt great! Hopefully people can see the photos.What I asked for vs what I got.When I showed the lady who was going to braid me what I wanted she told me the hair I had would not do. Walked me to the beauty supply store and bought the braids she recommended for $17.When she braided my left side I was looking away from the mirror. When she turned me around to work on my right that’s when I noticed there were no braids in my hair! She was doing cornrows and adding braids to the ends!When I asked her why she wasn’t adding hair she informed me that she didn’t do that. I said, but I showed you 2 pictures to give you an idea of what I wanted and not once did you disclose you didn’t braid without adding hair???She told me that there was a miscommunication when I scheduled my appointment, besides her next appointment was at 3 and she was in a rush. I scheduled my appointment too, I also called before driving over and confirmed my appointment. Am I not important?To be charged $30 for a wash and blowdry. Forced to pay a $10 tip for this ugly hair because she had no change for my $40.Now I’m home, undoing my hair. My stylist was Ada. I came to her get a relaxer and I am very happy with my experience. My hair had been badly damaged after several attempts at relaxing my hair myself. Ada was very caring and took the time to come up with a plan to get my hair back on track. She gave me many helpful tips that I know will be helpful in the future. After only a couple of visits I can already see the positive difference in my hair. I would definitely recommend her.

Ada did an amazing job! Not only is she passionate about hair, she has a great personality and great skills. Throughout my visit, Ada had given great advice on how to maintain my hair. I received cornrows for this visit. Despite having a sensitive scalp, I feel no pain with my hairdo. I am beyond pleased with the results. It’s rare to find a a genuine and gifted cosmetologist that does natural hair. I’ll definitely be returning!
