Positive: CleanlinessRating based on the single haircut from today, been here a couple times, all the barbers are cool people but I’ve left here a couple times unsatisfied with my cuts from different barbers, but really wanting to like this place.Today I got a cut from Jose and it’s actually one of the best cuts I’ve gotten over the past few years. He took his time, asked good questions to get things right and lined me up very well(i have an awfully rounded hairline naturally). Probably gonna call in for him next time. Recommend stopping by and trying the place out, even if it means cheating on your usual barber :).Side note: the barbers do seem to have their own pricing varying on what they feel like they should charge, I’ve had some variable pricing here and that is subtly annoying, I like to tip well depending on quality so paying anything over $20 is kinda bogus especially since the usual standard is $15, not a deal breaker unless the cut is bad though.Services: Scissor cut, Haircut, Long haircut, Hair shape upRating based on the single haircut from today, been here a couple times, all the barbers are cool people but I’ve left here a couple times unsatisfied with my cuts from different barbers, but really wanting to like this place. …More

Critical: ProfessionalismI hate leaving only 2 stars for a place I’ve enjoyed going to for years, but with my last 3 experiences, I don’t think I’ll be going back. I’m genuinely confused on how they’ve changed their pricing. For years I always got a standard gentleman’s cut that was $15 every single time, no matter which barber I had. About 6 months ago, all of a sudden my cut went up to $20, and now last month it was $25. What’s next, a $30 cut? They took their pricing board off the wall so I have no clue what it costs anymore but I was told this flu going around has nothing to do with it.Lastly, 2 of the last 3 cuts I’ve gotten, I was asked to remove my mask by the barber. This last one however I was told I had to keep it on, which legit is no problem to me but I noticed that 3 of the employees didn’t have theirs on, and half the customers didn’t either. But my barber insisted it was their policy and that I couldn’t remove mine. Here’s the weird part, she kept hitting the ear loops on the mask, resulting in it popping off, and then she’d tell me to stop taking it off before I get us both in trouble. Like seriously?? I never once touched it or removed it, but she blames me for something she did?? Also, one of the employees (maskless) doing a cut on his customer (maskless) was letting the customer drink an open can of beer while getting his cut. When the heck did that become okay to do? I hate leaving only 2 stars for a place I’ve enjoyed going to for years, but with my last 3 experiences, I don’t think I’ll be going back. I’m genuinely confused on how they’ve changed their pricing.
