I initially went in to see what options were available for a problem area and the nurse told me filler was the only option. I told her I wasn’t interested in filler and listed my reasons why. She tried to combat with statistics that I knew were wrong as I had done a lot of research as all people should and corrected her and left. I was not rude to her but did not feel confident in her because she was misspeaking facts. I called the office later to schedule botox which I’ve done before and am comfortable with and they will not let me come back for service because I turned down and corrected their nurse about filler that one time. So if you do research beforehand on procedures and turn down services beware- this place will not let you come back for other services.

Unlike some places that offer similar services, the doctors at Allura know how to make subtle changes to your face and body aesthetic that look natural. My review is for hormone replacement therapy. I was warned by a couple of doctors that Allura runs high on their doses, and my labs showed it. For the few years I did treatment I struggled with a lot of side effects (anxiety, fatigue, weight gain, and more) but didn’t realize it was from the pellet therapy until I stopped. The reason I stopped is because I received triple the dose I was supposed to get after seeing a new doctor, and got severely sick. When I called them, I was told that women are “holding on” to their hormones differently now, but she also admitted that they had received several of these complaints. Once the hormones left my body, I started a cream for HRT and cannot believe how much better I feel. I wasted years of my life not realizing it was the pellet therapy causing so many issues. Staff are super kind. My only complaint is the medication itself. There’s a reason it’s not FDA approved.
