Would not recommend working here. Zero Stars. Completely disorganized. Unprofessional. Was told would be hands on and take classes. Any classes had was not allowed to take. Was under the impression that would happen but didn’t happen. Instead was made to constantly clean after people, do the laundry, clean bowls, sweep, cut hair out of chairs, etc. Did blowouts for clients when a stylist was busy even though it was put under their names and got zero credit. It was given all to the other stylist. Would stand and watch to try and learn but instantly told to clean up after someone else instead. In the time working there only 3-4 people cared to actually speak and get to know me. Very unfriendly and judgmental people. Made fun of a co-worker for their pronouns and name. They have a stylist at a level she very much should not be at with her getting constant complaints about her work. That said stylist has the worst attitude and very rude. Was promised so many things but got none of them. They just wanted someone to clean up after them and wait on them hand and foot. Understandably having two years experience isn’t as much as the stylists who work there but I was willing to learn anything possible but was never given the opportunity to do so. Did a mannequin to try and show what I could do because no one showed any interest in the slightest and no one cared. Just wanted to show and prove the things I’m capable of to maybe get them interested but nothing at all. Again they only wanted someone who would clean after them. If that’s what they wanted I would have never waited four months for this job and the terrible pay.

I have been looking for a good stylist in BR and decided to give this salon a try based on the reviews. I regret it terribly. I sat down with Megan and attempted to show her several videos and pictures of EXACTLY what I wanted and she barely looked at them and seemed apathetic towards my requests but assured me she could do it. She did not follow the prompt I gave her at all and actually did exactly what I asked her not to do. My hair was left with chunky, uneven layers and huge gaps and looks horrible now to the point that i cannot wear it down until it is fixed. She also asked me if I wanted to do a conditioning treatment without mentioning that it was $35. In total, I paid over $100 to be disappointed to the point that I do not even feel comfortable coming back to this salon to have it fixed. I had gorgeous virgin hair that went down to my waist and it is now ruined. Not to mention the sour attitudes from all the workers. Very awkward atmosphere in there as it seems all the workers hate eachother and their jobs. Stay away!!!

From the very moment I arrived at “Air Salon” it was an enjoyable experience! My sister and I were passing thru briefly for work and my hair was in bun mode ( ) Well Ashleigh took the best care of me and especially my hair!
