She’s amazing with hair color, communicated her steps from the very beginning, was extremely attentive, precise, & such a pleasure to meet! The salon is bright, clean, & the staff is so kind! (I could have opted to do that at home, and never gone inside the salon at all, but I live in an apt. building and didn’t want to walk through the lobby like that.) I am very happy to report an excellent experience at Aura Salon in Caldwell. There is a tent and chair set up in the parking lot, so I had my highlights put on and enjoyed waiting comfortably outdoors while it set. I only had to go indoors to have my hair washed, which was quickly and safely accomplished. Had an excellent first-time dramatic cut with Nicole. Clean facility, friendly manager and good prices. Waxing services also available. I plan to return for future cuts and blow outs. Note that there is parking in the rear of the building despite the lot not being visible from Bloomfield Ave.

Had a very terrible and disappointing experience here. I paid $300 expecting to get ombré and instead got highlights that don’t even match the color I wanted. I was there for 4 hours way too long. I was so hungry I thought I was going to faint. Clients should never have to sit in a chair for 4 freaking hours without being offered food. Also, my hair is extremely dry and not responding to conditioning treatments.. I think they fried my hair. Never again
