My son is 6 and autistic with ADHD. Not only did this man and his wife keep our son completely chill the whole time he was zipping through his hair, they made him feel comfortable. Also, please note that my kid was trying to be a total party animal in the comfy chairs and the owner did not have a problem telling him to behave. I was really impressed with that. The owners are very transparent and I find it refreshing.

This is the greatest barber I have ever been too, he is so friendly and does exactly what you want everytime, he asks you when you done if there is anything else he can do and he don’t get mad when you ask him for something. Attempted to get a haircut for my son and was told “ I don’t cut autistics hair”. My son is 15 and been getting his hair cut in barber shops his whole life. He has cerebral palsy (not autism). I explained this to the barber and reassured him that he has no issues with clippers, or sitting in the chair. Again we were refused. Sad to see this level of hatred, ignorance and blatant discrimination of the disabled.

I cant say enough about my good friend Gerald. His the owner and operator of the nicest barbershop around. It is class all the way. Gerald is great person who truly cares about his friends.
