I have been coming here to see Shawn for a while now and I’ve had at least a dozen massages from him. All of my friends and family come here for him as well. He is professional, kind and definitely knows what he is doing.

I wanted so much to love this place, it’s clean and comfortable. I had a massage with Lisa, she was professional and friendly. The massage was mostly her running an arm or hand, over my body, then digging an elbow or a thumb into my joints. I should have said something, because I was flinching from the pain, but I was trying to keep an open mind. Having massages in the past, sometimes it will hurt a little, and feel better later. I have read the reviews and they were positive. It has been days of terrible pain in my joints, currently on prescription pain medication now. I expect a similar massage from the place in the mall, not a licensed massage therapist. So disappointed.

I see Shawn regularly and he always does a fantastic job. I always leave feeling better than when I came in. He listens to me when I tell him of my problematic areas, treats the area professionally, and even gives me tips on how to treat the area at home with stretches. He checks in regularly with me during the massage to make sure the pressure is ok and listens when I suggest more or less pressure. Very kind and professional. I absolute-ly love coming to Absolute for my massages. All the therapist are VERY talented and professional at what they do. I see Shawn regularly and he always does a fantastic job. I always leave feeling better than when I came in. Lisa is an amazing massage therapist. She does a perfect combination of deep tissue, trigger point, and lighter massage(and will adjust to whatever you need) She is the only person able to help me with my Sciatic Nerve pain and Plantar Facitis. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The extra treatments available are so luxurious they remind me of a 5 star resort.

Positive: Communication, ProfessionalismI really wanted to give this place 5 stars…but I couldn’t in good faith do so when I feel like my therapist was a bit lazy with my massage. I had a 90 minute massage with Shawn, and he was VERY professional and courteous. However, about 20 minutes into the massage I noticed he was sitting on a stool and rolling around the table to massage me. There were a few times the stool even bumped the table and would startle me! I asked for deep tissue, and most of it felt like a Swedish massage. The pressure was inconsistent throughout and though it was a relaxing massage, it did not alleviate the areas of tension I had. I really just wish he would have stood up for the massage. I had a 90 minute massage with Shawn, and he was VERY professional and courteous.
