I came across this place which was nearby my house. I was told by the owner to get there by 6:00 p.m. When I arrived at exactly 6:00 p.m. the owner stated that the stylist was on her way. There were roaches crawling all over the place! The stylist finally arrived two hours later!! I asked for knotless braids and she did regular box braids and charged me $240.00 after I waited two hours for her to arrive. So I was going on a weekend get-a-way and needed my hair braided. The salon that I usually go to was closed due to the holiday. I came across this place which was nearby my house. I was told by the owner to get there by 6:00 p.m. When I arrived at exactly 6:00 p.m. the owner stated that the stylist was on her way. There were roaches crawling all over the place! I am extremely disappointed in their customer service. I have scheduled an appt twice for 9 am. The first time, no one showed up until an hour later. The second time, I was told they had no one to do my hair until 3 PM! I overheard one of the stylists on the phone saying how their boss schedules appointments before making sure she has a stylist available. This is extremely unprofessional. Why schedule appointments and not communicate with your customers when you can’t follow through. I will not be coming back.

Every time I make an appointment it’s always a wait or some sort of unprofessional behavior that makes me regret coming there. I had a 9:00 a.m. Appointment stood outside knocking on the door and waiting for almost an hour and no response. I call both phone numbers on the store and I also called the owner finally 45 minutes later I get a response and she calls someone who comes from the back who have me sit down and wait 20 minutes while she’s washing someone else’s hair. Finally I asked is there someone that’s gonna start working on my hair. By this time it’s already after 10. She tells me she’s trying to find someone. I told her I’m going home to finish packing and will wait for her call if she can find someone to do my hair. 2 and a 1/2 hours later I’m still waiting. What happened to my 9:00 a.m. appointment. I’m so tired of these unprofessional unreliable hair shops who want to over charge you and don’t value your time. I’m over it. Will not be returning.

She was only 10 braids in and told them she was not satisfied. At that point proper customer service is . 1) would you like me to fix it . Or 2. I/ or you can take them out and go . NOT TO ARGUE WITH THE CUSTOMER AND SAY YOU SAID THEY WERE FINE WHEN YOU ONLY SHOWED HER THE side of her head and not the complete back with the parts. As of today I havent even had my hair done a week and the twists are unraveling. Now my wife had already twisted my hair for locs but it had been 3 weeks since that so when I initially went in I asked the lady if she could wash my hair and retwist it for dreadlocs.She said yes. Wash and dry she twists my hair. Whole time I’m asking questions about dreadlocs and all. Even the stylists next to her handed her locing gel. She does the twist puts my head in the dryer. I get home I notice the twist are all really loose in comparison to what my wife did. So I go back today I got there like 230 lady says come back 330 430. Ok. Left went home to change come back 320ish. Then she asks if I can wait till she gets done the girls hair she doing now. I say ok. Lady pops in which I assume to be the owner. She starts asking about my hair and stuff. Asking if I put something slippery in my hair. I said peppermint oil. Shes like no no no. I said that’s what the lady told me. I asked her cause I have dandruff. She then says the lady who did my hair is coming. Now it’s 430. Time keep moving I ask the stylists (cause owner dipped out) is the lady coming back to do my hair? She walks over picks up my jacked up twists and does this giggle. At that point I say I’ll come back another day.horrible service. They contradicting each other’s work and methods and don’t know what’s going on. My experience was horrible. Yours may be good. It’s all really a toss up with this place

I took my aunt to Hollywood Braiding to get her wigs customized by Aleta. So please know that this is a full service salon that provides much more than braiding. Aleta was so patient and open to my aunt’s suggestions in styling. She was hospitable and did not make is feel rushed or annoying. The service was outstanding and we will definitely be back

Bathroom was disgusting. The salon has roaches. I was rushed out the chair so the woman who did my hair can catch her bus. Seriously she litterly rushed me saying “fast fast fast”. They were very unprofessional. Tipping is customary but they were so unpleasant I couldn’t bring myself to tip these woman. I surely won’t recommend this establishment to any of my friends or family.

Long rant Wish it could be zero stars . I got micro braids they used nail glue and glued my own hair onto he fake hair causing me to have to cut my own hair to get the braids out. I notice black hair and thought maybe they mixed the hair because it was so soft . I went back to get a sew in and the lady who took my sew in down at a different shop said why is your hair coming out. We had to cut my hair to get the braids out instead of tieing the braids into a knot. If you want to have no hair go here .my hair was growing back but now it’s so short. And they charged extra $ to have someone else braid with them. And I had big braids in the middle after asking if two packs was enough hair. I could have bought more it was human hair. They just kept asking how much I paid for my human hair maybe to try to charge me more for my braids not worth it run away !!

I am upset and blown away. This braiding salon is very very unprofessional. I called the other day to set an appointment for my mother. The owner named Nana confirmed it. However, when my mother arrived 15 mins before her appointment. There was only one lady/braiding stylist in the salon, and it wasn’t Nana. The stylist was taking out a client’s braids at the time of my mother’s arrival, thus my mother had to wait.
