Make sure you wash your hair before going to the salon if your getting a curly cut.This Salon is one of the best salons I have been to .Every employee that works here is extremely kind they are understanding to your situation I brought my 4 year old daughter and they were so accommodating for her because I did my hair as well and my daughter was getting inpatient but one of there employees were talking to my daughter to distract her .everyone that works here is very kid friendly and just so nice .I also liked how if I had a question they would explain what to do to keep my hair curly.they also explain exactly what to do each day for your curls to pop .they also sells hair products in the salon . Our curly cuts came out amazing thanks to Raquel !

Out of all the haircuts I have received in my life, it is by far the worst. Olivia cut my hair the first time. I have curly hair so they insisted it be cut dry. She also insisted to cut it with a middle part even though I told her I never part my hair in the middle. When I tried to style it myself there were only two layers in my hair and it was a four inch difference. It looked awful. I called and told them I was unhappy and I went for an appointment with someone new. It came out even worse. I have attached a picture of when it’s straight to show how awful it is. Because my hair grows slowly I have to just look like this for months. Extremely unhappy.

Hands down the best service I ever had from a salon. The color, cut, style is amazing. Brittany was professional and the salon staff and environment was clean and very inviting. Brittany listened to my requests and nailed everyone of them. It is very hard finding a beautician that listens and delivers. Been to so many salons and never have I been so pleased. Good job girls! Brittany you are awesome! Definitely going back!

My daughter scheduled her appointment, for a color touch up with Lexi, over one month ago. Has been in contact & CONFIRMED the appointment time, of 10am, MULTIPLE times in the last few weeks. We live 45 minutes away, on the way there (5 minutes away), she gets a call saying her appointment was at 9:45 & she is late so she has to reschedule. When she gets there she shows her the messages, confirming 10am appointment time. She’s told she was put in for 9:45 but told 10am, but she has another client so she can’t see her at her scheduled time. She was offered an appointment for a week out. My daughter has Senior portraits scheduled this week & now we are left to scramble to find someone last minute, because of this irresponsibility/unprofessionalism. This was supposed to be her second appointment here. We didn’t have any issues with her last appointment. But for them to be as expensive as they are, they should be a little more professional than this.

I didn’t want to leave a bad review for this place but every time I look at my hair it makes me more upset about how full it used to be. I came in for a full highlight back in September, which it turned out nice at first, but not without my stylist Raquel criticizing almost everything about my hair (the cut, the previous highlights and lowlights, dryness, etc.) and using it to try to sell me on other services they offer at the salon. She also repeatedly told me that I should have let her use bleach for the highlights even though I told her I wasn’t comfortable with it. Even so, she left the foils in for over 2 hours, claiming that they would “stop working” at 45 minutes. But over the days after, almost all of the hair that was highlighted fell out. Still, every time I brush my hair or even comb through it with my fingers, I lose even more. My hair is less than half as full as it used to be and I wish I never got it highlighted here. Complete waste of over $300

Had my first appointment with Lexi today and I am feeling like a GODDESS. I’ve known the basics of taking care of my curls, but you’d be surprised how many stylists don’t know what to do with them. 91 South has it down pat – there’s not a single gottdang strand of frizz on my entire head, and my highlights are *chef’s kiss* perfection. So natural and dimensional. All of the stylists seem very knowledgable and Lexi was great! I think I have found my people.

I loved the care and concern about what I wanted. My stylist was Kelly, she was so informative about my hair and what it needed. I hadn’t had my hair cut or styled in about 2.5 years. She was a great listener, I wanted my curls to come back without having to get a perm because my hair is so thin. I’m 54 years old and on alot of meds which plays a big role in my hair. So she cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted. They specialized in curls. So if your looking for a great place to take care of you very well come here. I have found my new place. ❤️

Lexi is a curly hair specialist but she mastered my poker straight hair. Style and color!!! I expressed to her about a year ago that I wanted to go blonder to cover my grays more. She explained to me it won’t happen over night and will take some time. Today I went and got my though up and high lights done and left there sooo over the top happy, I can’t stop talking about it and sending pictures to my friends. Although she does mostly curly hair, if you have straight hair you need to go see her!! 91 Soiuth is my home away from home. Everyone says hello when you come in and it’s just an all around great place to go pamper yourself at!!!
