I will never return here. I got my braides done June 29th & all my hairs are begining to stick out everywhere. From the moment I stepped in the doors I felt very uncomfortable they looked at me as if I was someone from mars they didn’t great me with a smile as they do to any other person who speaks French like them. It was highly unprofessional when mama did not want to do my hair she kept giving excuses to why she was not going to do my hair. I even went to purchase my own hair after being told they will supply hair there only for 20$. After I began to pack my things & told her I did not want to do my hair there she than said okay fine ill do it. As a curtisy for the customer’s comfortablility you should brush the hair and section all portions in order she just put my hair in a bun & with the same metal clip that was holding my hairs back she was separating my hair & for someone with frizzy knotty hair that is uncomfortable. I had my hair braided with Emmi on thursday June 6,2019 my hair came out beautiful and on top of that she was fast as lightning, I have a ton of hair on my head and she started my hair at 9am she was done by 11:30 and I’m not joking I had medium size tree braids done my hair, so they weren’t tiny braids or micros but still i was impressed I have other African braiders take 8 hours on my head seriously!!! I am new to San Diego and happened to find the salon on Google. I expected a pleasant experience based on the reviews from Google, but everything was even better than I imagined. The place was easy to find, clean, and nicely decorated. she was professional and friendly. I was nervous going on a Saturday, which is usually a busy day for most salons, but I was in and out in a very reasonable time! And Not to mention I love how my hair was braided. I will definitely be a regular customer.

Great place to get your hair braided in any style. I’m a navy sailor and Mrs. Sandy and her staff have always kept that in their best interest! I’ve pretty much gotten everything done there from braids to a sew in and I’ve never been disappointed. So if you find yourself looking for a place to get your hair braided her in San Diego at a very reasonable price and someone who’s familiar with military regulations i will suggest Sandy’s no doubt!!

Today was my first day! The salon is very clean and well designed. The Ladies were very kind, and professional! We started right on time, and there were two Ladies working on my hair the entire time. They did a great job, and did it within a reasonable time (I got Microbraids with Wet and Wavy Hair) I will definitely come back, and I would also highly recommend this salon 🙂
