I have been going to see the wonderfully talented stylist Monica since she was fresh out of beauty school 21 years ago. I have followed her from each salon she has moved on to over the years as there is no one else I would ever dream of going to. When I moved to Grand Rapids for ten years, I would make the three hour drive every few months to continue to have Monica do my hair as her gift is unparalleled. Watching her transition into the role of stylist/owner has been an amazing and wonderful thing to be able to watch. But it’s not just Monica who excells here at 865, each stylist gives such a unique and thoughtful experience that you will no doubt leave looking your absolute best and feeling like a million bucks. They offer such a wide range of services there is truly something for everyone to be able to treat themselves!

I’ve been coming her for over 15 years (first when it was Tarro and now 865 West) and have always had a great experience. Everyone who works here is talented and kind and welcoming. It’s like the Cheers of salons. Monica always gets my hair just right and Rhonda is the best manicurist in the biz.
