I went to 21 for about 2 years and have noticed a decline in hospitality, skill, and staffing. I don’t mind waiting but most of the time they have just turned me away because they don’t have enough people to cut hair, even though I’m the only customer in there. On top of that, I went this week to get my hair cut, no one was even around and there were drink cans and bottles all over the shop with no barbers in site. I waited a couple of minutes and gave up.

I’ve been coming here since 2016, 21 Barbershop. Even after moving to different areas in Tampa, some 30-40 minutes away… I still make the drive to get my haircut here. It has such a friendly environment. Almost everyone will greet you as you enter and they always have some sporting event on the televisions (usually soccer). Fantastic place. Good atmosphere, they even have a ping pong table. And the thing I love the most about this place is you sit down, tell them what you want and they go to TOWN on your hair. No pointless question about your life or small talk that doesn’t mean anything. They just focus on their work and do a great job every time. Even brought my friend here who had been growing out his hair for 6 months. He hated the cut at first (Because we forced him to cut his long hair and after he said he missed it) but once he got over that he said they really took care of him and literally everyone told him his haircut looked great and he grew to love it. 10/10 would recommend
