I went in for a SOAK OFF and the lady only soaked one hand and used another acrylic nail to take off my other hand. Another lady walked in asking for a pedicure and if it was okay that she had a blister on her foot and the lady doing pedicures said they will do the pedicure anyway. It is malpractice to do both of those things. You cannot just take someone’s nails off without soaking them bc it can ruin the nail bed and cause infection. As for letting someone with a open wound get their nails done is not okay for the simple fact majority of tools aren’t sanitized properly until the end of the night. I saw the lady just rinse the nail clippers under the sink.

Okay I have been coming here for years and I will admit, it wasn’t always the most sanitary, but I mean it is a walk-in nail salon… it’s like super cut compared to a hair dresser with their own shop. I was always happy with the work even if it wasn’t the most sanitary. For a walk in place, I think it’s about the best you can get. Plus, changes are being made for the better! As I was getting my nails done all the metal tools were packaged and CLOSED tightly in the sanitary bag I physically saw my girl open the tools and I was very impressed. This place is changing for the better! And the actual work is improving as well!

Overall, my experience has been okay. They do an okay regular manicure, nothing AMAZING, but better than I can do at home (and I have all the tools). (When it comes to cuticles always go to a professional.

I went with my sister in law and mother in law and I got a full set acryllic and a pedicure. They did an alright job in my acrylics but when they did the pedicure, the water was cold, and she completely messed up the polish. Not only did she mess up once, she wasn’t even going to fix it until her coworker said to, then she fixed it but then messed it up a 2nd time. Then they charged me $30 for the pedicure. It was so not worth $30. The acryllic full set only cost $25 and they want to charge more for a pedicure. It’s ridiculous and I will not be going back.

One of the first times I came here, the young girl that did my pedicure spoke English and her home language , which is not a problem because I also speak two languages but she really made me feel like she was talking about me ! Talking about my feet and what I requested, it was too and so obvious, one thing is ‘I’m not f’ing stupid. And she laughed away. I looked at her and the person she was talking to and he had a dumb look on his face because it was unprofessional what she was doing. Despite how good she can do a pedicure. Being treated like a joke is not worth coming here. Waste of time and money. That’s why I found a better place off I-30 and Collins next to chillis!

My friend and I came in, I was just going to get a pedicure. My friend a Mani and Pedi. She sat down, and immediately got started on her pedicure while I was patiently sitting there waiting with my feet in the water. There was ONLY one other customer and her toddler, yet TWO people were working on THAT lady’s pedicure. The MAN who works here, who did my friend’s pedi, HE did an amazing job. He was very professional and didn’t try to combat any of the things we noticed/brought up. I was sitting there, waiting for the next available nail tech to start my pedi and the chair that I was sitting in was very uncomfortable. So I attempted to adjust it with the remote several times. I couldn’t get it to adjust to where I didn’t feel like I was just sliding forward (because the chair was broken and it was simply leaning forward) .. so I asked to just move chairs because I wasn’t comfortable. They ladies were combative with me and kept insisting “ALL CHAIRS ARE THE SAME, HERE MOVE IT WITH THE REMOTE, THEY ARE ALL THE SAME” .. I calmly explained to them that I get what they’re saying but they’re not understanding me.. (and even though they were not understanding me, they at least understood that I wasn’t comfortable and I wanted to move chairs.) So I simply said, it’s okay. It’s fine. I’m not worried about it. Also, this place uses liners in the pedi chairs, which was a main reason why I chose this place instead of the previous 3 we had walked into. Well, the liners don’t mean ANYTHING if the water is still coming from the jets and into the liner. The liner has a hole cut out for the jet so the jet is STILL shooting water on my feet! That means that even IF they were cleaned the right way, there is STILL stagnant water sitting in those jets between people, festering with bacteria and God knows what else is growing… And then that SAME water is going into the tub of “fresh clean” water for my pedicure.. so I eventually decide to get up out of this uncomfortable chair since they won’t let me move chairs, and when they FINALLY asked if I wanted to move chairs (since they saw I was getting up) I told them no it’s okay I don’t want a pedi anymore. So my friend finished her Pedi and it looks GREAT. The man’s name is BEN and he’s legitimate. His license is legitimate. The other two ladies look fake. That have pictures all over their licenses and a hand written name on a piece of paper that’s been taped onto the license. Anyways. The chair/tub I had my feet in got drained. NOT cleaned. No other water or cleaning agents ran through it to clean the jets. It’s like they think the fact that they used a liner excludes the fact that they STILL NEED TO CLEAN THE JETS which the liners DO NOTHING TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION!! My friend moves onto her Mani and the lady used the SAME nail file (from her pocket, by the way) that she used on the last lady!! Meanwhile, another lady comes in and they have her sit AT THE SAME CHAIR/TUB THAT I HAD MY FEET IN THAT THEY DIDNT CLEAN!!! Then the lady doing my friend’s Mani didn’t tell us that it was going to be an extra $5 for “a design” when there was NO DESIGN, only a second coat of a different color on THREE of her nails. Not all 10. The ladies were rude. The service was bad. The SANITATION WAS NON EXISTENT.
