Critical: QualityHands down the absolute worst haircut I have ever had in my life – and I am 52. I HAD beautiful long layers and Jackie- who was senior level and charged $155 & assured me she could cut my hair- cut them all off and reshaped my entire cut. I’m embarassed to leave my house, it will take a year to grow this out. I cannot believe I was charged $155 for this. Jackie did offer to fix it at no charge and was very nice about it, but I would never let her cut my hair again. It’s been a week and I am still in shock everytime I look in the mirror. I’m upset beyond words.UPDATE: after speaking with Jackie about my disappointment in this cut she offered a full refund which I accepted. Every hairstylist is exceptional. I have my regular McKensy but over the years I have had my hair done by everyone is the shop. All outstanding. They really listen and do what you are looking for but honest enough to say when something may not work for you. All the stylists in training are well vetted and are working hard to move up.

The newly redone salon is beautiful but the best reason to go is Alyson, who has been doing my color for years. She is the best colorist I’ve ever had, and manages to choose the perfect shade every time, no matter which look I request (bright blonde, darker blonde, etc.). I recommend her to everyone and having just left the salon, thought I should tell Google too. She’s the best!!
