After a bad experience with another salon! I came in for a protective style, the damage that was done had me in an emotional space, but I received excellent customer service from beginning to end Z handled me with care, she extended much compassion and was sensitive to what I needed. Let me first start out saying my experience today was awesome. I have not had the greatest experience here in Georgia with salons since I’ve moved here. However, let me thank Gayla for such great customer service experience and hair that feels and look great/healthy. I booked the works and with every step Gayla explained what she was going to be doing. She was able to answer all my questions and concerns in addition to giving me advice of what I should do moving forward. The ladies worked together great and helped move the process along when there was a wait. I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair and who I let do it which is why it took me weeks to really look into this salon before booking but, I am already booking my next visit and it has only been a hour since I left.

So I came in for a silk press over the weekend. When I came in it was a really nice and clean environment. Nobody really greeted me when I came inside, but I signed in and waited until someone got w me. They were working so I didn’t want to interrupt either. But I came in 5 minutes early to my appointment to avoid any issues , It was like 9:10ish a girl asked me what I came in for I let her kno my reason. My appointment was 9am-10am I scheduled it in October, but nobody started on my hair til 10am. Jus the wash by 1 girl and she sat me under the dryer for like 15 maybe 20 minutes. Then a stylist came to me to sit in her chair to use the handheld one to finish that way, I don’t want to list her name but it felt like she was in a rush w me because she had 2 people ahead of me. It felt like she was being an rough with my hair too and It was addressed that it was making my head feel tinder. She finished at ab 10:45 but then she sat me to the side bc of the 2 people ahead of me getting the same style…. I was being patient the whole time bc I get it the stylist life but the wait time was jus crazy to me. She didn’t start pressing my hair til 11:20. I left alittle before 12 I also included that I wanted a trim in my comments when I booked. & she did say I needed one too. But I told her that I thought it was included in the silk press she told me it wasn’t. I understand I didn’t book the works which is the one that includes that but I didn’t kno it wasn’t for the silk press as well. I kno every business isn’t the same but I assumed that a trim would b included in a silk press service, regardless of me commenting wanting a trim. But I had commented in my booking that I wanted one so I thought it was going to be done too. She noticed at the end of my appointment when I was paying that I commented but it was already almost 12 so I just left it alone. I was satisfied w my overall results but not service that is why I rate it a 3.

found eddene on tiktok so i decided to book because i needed a trim. while washing my hair she asked if i wanted anything other than just a blowdry and trim and i said no because my main purpose for booking the appointment was a trim. after a little consideration i thought maybe i might want an actual style so i asked the lady who took over my hair washing what styles were offered. the lady proceeded to ask eddene what natural styles she offered which were only 2. she was telling the lady that i just said i didnt want one and she had asked while i was sitting two feet away. i butted in to tell her i had changed my mind and she then told me the two styles she offered so i was thinking about which one i might want until i had gotten in her chair. i told her my choice and she rudely responded she didnt have time for that now and that she would have to wet my hair to do the style. my main reason for leaving this review is i’m pressing my hair and i am noticing a lot of short pieces of my hair that were not there before her trimming my hair. the service was overall terrible. didnt feel welcomed at all

This salon is the definition of quality. My stylist Eddene was professional and truly cares about her work. All the stylists work together which is rare but they do it to help the customer. For example, instead of having me wait until my stylist was finished with someone, another stylist, Z, helped straighten my hair. This made the process quick and easy and allowed me to not have to wait long to be finished. All the girls clearly know what they are doing as everyone who I saw walked out of the chair looking great. I am surely a new lifetime customer. Thank you ladies for a great experience. I’ll be back!

My 1st appointment was last week with Gayla and she did not disappoint. She knows hair. She listened to what I wanted and she ensured that my style was a fit for me. The atmosphere was relaxing and inclusive. Everyone was friendly and naturally nice. I have finally found a home for my natural hair. If you are looking for a stylist who cares and knows hair, this is the place. All of the stylists are awesome.
